Saks is the UK's leading hair and beauty group, recently
acknowledged as the UK’s Best Training Provider*.
Renowned for award-winning excellence, Saks offers
outstanding hairdressing and beauty education through
the Saks Academies.
Having started nervously on my first day at the Academies, I
have progressed from an absolute beginner into a confident,
fully qualified hairdresser in just 26 weeks! I benefited from
being taught by an array of educators, including members of the
Saks Art Team, in smaller classes, which meant one to one
tuition was always available. The educators really pushed me
into learning different styles and techniques and I now have the
confidence to pursue my career. The Academies have a very
warm atmosphere and I built up a strong relationship with
everyone. My only regret is that I didn’t do this course sooner!
Thousands of visitors from around the world flock to the
Saks Academies every year for a wide range of
inspirational courses. Influenced by international trends
and techniques, the year's hair courses programme for the
Saks Academies combines the brand new with the classic,
the cutting edge with the commercial, management with
specialist - superb training to improve and refresh skills,
inspire and influence, and build successful salon
businesses and careers, whatever your discipline.
Karen Hamilton, Beginners Student
The Saks Academies are home to the internationally
renowned Saks Art Team, innovative stylists and
educators. The team's educators regularly travel the
world, taking education from the Saks Academies to
international audiences and are outstanding ambassadors
for hairdressing education, promoting Saks Academies’
excellence internationally.
Amazing experience! I’m glad that I chose Saks friendly team, wonderful students and amazing
educators. I have learnt so much and would like to
thank Saks for the impact they have made on my
new career which will bring a brilliant future!
Paolo Gotardo, Beginners Student
Saks London Academies are located in the heart of Covent
Garden, London’s most happening district. Saks Northern
Academies are based in Darlington in the North East of
England, which benefits from excellent transport links and
is located close to major tourist attractions. Saks Scottish
Academies are located in the vibrant city centre of Glasgow
and our Cardiff academy within in Cardiff’s bustling city
centre, popular for shopping and nightlife as well as other
unique events and attractions.
A great location for thriving hairdressers.
I thoroughly enjoyed my course - it went above and
beyond my expectations. I’ve learnt so much and
have acquired many new skills which will not only
benefit me in my working career, but also outside
the workplace. The course enabled me to qualify in
6 months, meaning I wasn’t out of work for long,
which was perfect! Everyone was amazing at the
Academies and I would like to thank them for
making my experience fantastic and helping me
achieve my dream.
Saks Academies have multi-purpose rooms available to
hire to suit a variety of business training and seminar
needs. They are also the ideal venue for hair and beauty
workshops. Theory classes may be held as well as theatre
style seminars.
Emma Bewley, Beginners Student
Whilst completing my course I experienced living
away from home for the first time, but all the Saks
team really helped me to settle in and it soon
became home. The course exceeded my
expectations and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it. I would
recommend it to anyone who would like a career in
hairdressing.
Interpreters may also be provided for clients and students
from abroad.
