PASTOR EUGENIO & MIRIAM
I met Pastor Eugenio in April 2014 on
location of the church plant. I immediately
felt he had a “Caleb spirit” (no, he is not 80
years old)! Eugenio has a “I can do it with
the Lord’s help” spirit! The joy of the Lord
is evident! They went to the edge of the
city of Santa Clara to evangelize. People
were saved. They started regular Bible
studies in 2013 in an area know as “Banda
de Esperanza.” A non-christian man who
was interested, felt that in order to be more
effective, they needed to start a church
with regular services. The man offered
land if someone would live on the property
and attend to the congregation. Pastor
Eugenio and his wife Miriam offered to
leave the comforts of their home in Santa
Clara and move to a rustic house put
together with rough sawn lumber and dirt
floors. In August a donation came from the
USA and they now have concrete floors! I
attended a worship service on a Sunday
morning November 15, 2015. What a joy
to experience worship, hear the kids recite
verses and The Word preached. The life
verse of the congregation is found in
Psalms: 92.12.

Pastor Eugenio, Miriam and congregation were filled with joy when two
guitars and four tambourines were
donated by UWC, Charlotte, NC
The simple wooden structure was put up with funds provided by Pastor José Ariel after a
visit to the USA, as a home and a place of worship for the congregation.

Pastor Eugenio and Rick West at the
National Conference in January.

thank the Lord!
