Impeller centrifugal pumps - type KS, KSM GEN ER AL I N FOR M AT ION IMPELLER CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS TYPE KS Impeller centrifugal KS pumps have been designer to pump some acid, lye, hydrocarbon and other chemically active fluids, with hydrogen ionic concentration pH>3,5. With KS pumps it is possible to pump liquids with viscosity up to 200 mm2/s and density up to 1900 kg/m3. The temperature of the fluid cannot exceed 120 OC. Abrasive bodies content (grain size not bigger than 1 mm) should be limited to 50 mg/dm3. Gauge pressure of the fluid at the inlet to the pump most not exceed 1,0 Mpa. These functions are fulfilled by protection-control device of UZS type produced by Hydro-Vacuum S.A. Single-phase motor pumping units are serially equipped with a staring switch with built-in: w unipolar switch, w WEBER thermistor, w start-work capacitor. To ensure long life of the motor, it is recommended not to switch it more han 20 times an hour. The switching on cycle should be not shorter than every 3 minutes.
