The LEGION OF HONOR is again planning our annual four day bus trip to the Nation's Capital area
on November 3 thru 6, 2016. This is our 27th year to attend the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of
the Unknowns which is conducted by the International Association Legions of Honor. We will send you
an itinerary with our next mailing, usually mid September with any balance due if any.
We have contracted for two 56 passenger buses. The bus cost has gone up significantly in the last couple
years. We will be leaving on Thursday morning November 5, 2016 at 7:00 A.M. from Zenobia Shrine
Center, 8048 Broadstone Avenue, Perrysburg, OH 43551. Please park only in the designated area (far west
side of Zenobia by First Solar at the grass). Please advise me of your intentions as soon as possible as we
operate on a first come first serve basis and we have had several more that are interested this year. If you
plan to take the trip, please return your registration form and deposit to me as soon as possible. If you
went last year and do not plan to join us this year, please let me know.
The back of this sheet gives the cost per couple and/or single. Single price is based on double
occupancy. If you are interested in going as a single, you will be required to find a room mate. The
International event housing chairman requires the registration information and deposit from me as soon as
possible.
This year as in the past we will plan for dinner out at a special restaurant on Friday evening November
4. This is usually a single bus load. More information will be available later.
Please complete the registration form and return it to me, with your deposit check if you plan to
make the trip. Reservation deadline is July 1, 2016. There is a $20 discount per couple ($10 single) for
reservations received before July 1, 2016 and a $10 discount per couple ($5 single) for reservations received
before August 1, 2016. The balance will be due by October 1, 2016. You get round trip bus fare, 3 nights
lodging, snacks and refreshments on the bus, open hospitality room, bus tour of the D.C. area and
memorials, IALOH Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns, and a terrific weekend!! A
really great deal!!

We have reserved two 56 passenger buses. Departure will be on Thursday, November 3, 2016 and
returning on Sunday, November 6, 2016. We will be leaving from and return to Zenobia Shrine Center, 8048
Broadstone Avenue, Perrysburg, OH 43551. We will stop at Hoss's Restaurant for lunch on your own on
Thursday and again on Sunday coming home.

If you wish to pay in full with registration before July 1st the cost per couple is $662 or $331 per single.
*Note: Cost is based on double occupancy. If you are interested in going as a single you will need to find

If you have additional people in your room please add the bus cost and (if an adult) registration fee.
From the IALOH D.C. Housing Chairman, we are required to make a down payment per room as
soon as possible to hold our rooms. Reservation deadline is July 1, 2016 for the $20 discount and August
1, 2016 for the $10 discount. Reservations received after August 20 are subject to availability. The balance
is due by October 1, 2016. Discount will be applied to total after receipt of reservation. Cancellations on
October 1st and after will be prorated. There is a limited number of available rooms. Last year all rooms
were filled.
