Pencil and Ink Tutorial August/September 2010 Hetty Sanders contributed and filmed this easy tutorial for using colored pencils to create a delicately colored piece. Supplies: - 2 Light or Medium Colors of Complementary Inks - Black Permanent Ink - “Finger” Daubers or Cosmetic Sponges - Light-Colored Cardstock - Waterbrush filled with Water - Stamps with open areas to Watercolor Step One: Stamp the large background image with a very light color on the cardstock. Use a color that conveys the mood you are trying to acheive with your piece. © 2002-2010Patstamps.com Step Two: Use the pencils to color over the top of the ink, using the stamped image as a guide for where to place the pencil color.
