On 11-12-14 at about 1456 I was dispatched to the intersection of SR 73 and
IR 75 south bound entrance ramp for a vehicle accident with injuries. Ptl. J.
Shannon also responded with me and both units arrived at the same time. Ptl.
J. Shannon spoke to the drivers of the vehicles and received conflicting
accounts of the accident. No witnesses were present at the scene. The driver
of unit # 1 stated that she was west bound on SR 73 and turned left to turn
onto IR 75 south bound. She stated that she had a green left turn arrow. In
performing that turn she collided with unit #2. The driver of unit #2 stated that
she was east bound on SR 73 in the right thru lane. She stated that her light
was green so she preceded through the intersection and collided with unit #1.
No citation issued at this time. Officers are unable to determine fault for this
accident.
