Hospitality PROMONTORIO Head office, Lisbon About us PROMONTORIO is a full-service design firm founded by Paulo Martins-Barata, Joao Luis Ferreira, Paulo Perloiro, Pedro Appleton and Joao Perloiro, that began in 1990 in Lisbon as an experimental studio, and grew into a practice of over 60 architects, urban planners, landscape architects, interior designers, product designers and graphic designers. Our process springs from a dynamic and focused design culture that fosters collaboration above all. This cohesive and interactive structure enables us to deal with large and complex projects both in terms of design and programme. PROMONTORIO has accomplished a wide range of buildings from schools, museums and cultural institutions, to housing, offices, hotels and retail. We have offices in Portugal, Mozambique and Qatar and partnerships in Algeria, Angola, Brazil, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Scandinavia, Spain, Switzerland and the UAE. However, rather than geographically, we are organized in practice teams, ensuring that each project benefits from the expertise of our most talented people. In addition to our international partnerships, we have developed strategic associations with consultants from an array of experience that includes: Acoustics, Environmental Analysis, Infrastructure & IT Systems, Life Support Systems (for live exhibits), Lighting Design, MEP, Multimedia, Quantity Surveying & Cost Management, Structural, Sustainability (for both buildings and infrastructure), Transport and Traffic, all of which come together to provide a solid hands-on experience and offer a holistic design perspective. L'AND VINEYARDS Facade detail Hospitality In designing destinations, we recognize the importance of the total guest experience. Hospitality design is not merely about architecture; it embraces the guests’ every encounter with the space, from booking the stay to bidding the valet goodbye. This strategy has proven worthy not only for urban hotels or resorts, but also for the repositioning and renovation of outdated structures. Major Brands At PROMONTORIO we know the effort hoteliers put into bringing guests the best conceivable travel experience and we know our job is more than just defining the box. It is about investigating the needs of our clients, and uncovering imaginative, industry-specific solutions that ensure your operational efficiency and promote the return on your investment. •Aloft (Starwood) •Banyan Tree •Double Tree (Hilton Hotels & Resorts) •Elements (Starwood) •Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts •Indigo (IHG InterContinental) •Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts •Kempinski Hotels •The Luxury Collection (Starwood) •Marriott Marquis •Melia Hotels & Resorts •Radisson (Rezidor Group) •The Ritz-Carlton (Marriott Group) •Rotana Hotels •Six Senses Resorts & Spas •Sheraton (Starwood) •Sofitel (Accor) •Swissôtel (FRHI) •Westin (Starwood) TROIA DESIGN HOTEL Detail of the lobby Buldings •City Hotels •Golf Resort Hotels •Beach Hotels •Conference Facilities •Boutique Hotels •Serviced Apartments •Luxury Villas •Marinas & Waterfronts Interior Design •Hotels & Resorts •Clubs & Casinos •Restaurants •Spas •Private Villas •Flagship Stores •Luxury fit-outs •Yachts & Boats •Product Design Services •Support to Programme Planning and Business Development •Support to Brand Development, Market Segmentation & Operator Brands •Creative & Holistic approach to Design Theming •Fully-Integrated Design Services of Architecture/Landscaping/ Interior Design/Graphics •Asset/ Site Analysis and Master Planning •Phase-by-phase Pre-Contract Services: Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design/ Tender Docs, Tender Analysis, Construction Docs and Licensing •Post-contract Site Supervision •Site Support to Pre-Opening Management Arrival experience View of the lobby A classical golf resort hotel within three signature courses TIVOLI VICTORIA BANYAN TREE HOTEL Vilamoura (Algarve), Portugal Facade overlooking the golf course View of the main pool Detail of reception with sandstone-carved logo and solid bronze stripped counter View of guestroom in carrara marble flooring and natural sisal wowen wall covering Rooftop pool of the spa in black slate and 'stucco lucido' walls Fine-dinning with black terrazzo floor, handmade enameled tiles and bronze-chain curtains View of the lobby Spa pool with large stone flooring, 'stucco lucido' ceiling and porcelain partition A design vision for one of the finest business hotels of Zurich DOLDER WALDHAUS Zurich, Switzerland View of the fine-dinning restaurant with decorative acoustic ceiling and different seating areas View of the cigar lounge with wood-stripping humidor and 'giallo di Siena' stone fireplace General view of the resort Fine-dining restaurant with white terrazzo floors and wood-stripping movable partitions A luxury boutique resort designed to create a unique club-like experience VILALARA RESORT Lagoa (Algarve), Portugal Detail of the lobby Detail of the lounge area View of the drop-off and facade detail View of the vertical atrium Detail of the lobby An art-inspired hotel located between two leading museums THE MUSEUM HOTEL Doha, State of Qatar View of the main building View of the lobby An award-winning and michelin-starred vineyard resort in the Alentejo L'AND VINEYARDS RESORT Montemor-o-Novo (Alentejo), Portugal View of the guest suites View from the guest suites towards the main building View of the indoor pool seen from outside View of the indoor pool towards the spa View of the lobby View from King Fahd Road The 2nd-tallest skyscraper in Riyadh and also the city's finest branded apartments KEMPINSKY RAFAL Riyadh, KSA Under construction Detail of the rooftop sky villa Detail of the 32nd-floor health-club outdoor terrace View from the pool Living room and library Private suite detail A luxury private villa in the centre of Lisbon PRINCIPE REAL HOUSE Lisbon, Portugal Night view of the facade View of the guestroom suite from the terrace Extending and revamping a 1940s landmark hotel and Art Deco gem BRITANNIA HOTEL Lisbon, Portugal View from the Mall of Syria square View of the lobby A 250-keys business and conference hotel to anchor a large MAF mall KEMPINSKY DAMASCUS Khams Shamat (Damascus), Syria General view of the hotel View from the marina A large 5-star design hotel with casino, conference centre, theatre and spa set in the tip of the Comporta region TROIA DESIGN HOTEL Grandola (Alentejo), Portugal Detail of the guestroom View of the spa Detail of the bubble bar mechanical shell Bubble bar with performing stage on the upper level General view of the main casino room with moving shell bubble bar General view of the hotel towers View of the drop-off and facade detail A ensemble of two 5-star hotels in the centre of Algiers ST.
