FILLING SCALES Filling pressure up to 25 bar For bottle filling of Liquified Gases such as propane and butane and most types of industrial gases a full range of filling scales are available. Depending on customer needs these may be simples scales with mechanical cut-off to fully electronic filling devices. In short: for standard and special applications NINNELT offers the ideal solution. In short: NINNELT provides optimal solutions for every special need a customer might have, be this for manual and single filling scales or fully automatic carousel filling stations with chain conveyors, control scales, automatic tightness testing, cylinder evacuation, shrinkage systems, cylinder washing plants and palletizing units. Inline Filling Stations - max. 6 filling scales are installed in a chain conveyor - Cylinder transport is done by chain conveyor - capacity: with 4 scales approx. 150 household cylinders / hour - Number of staff may be adapted to different filling capacities Example: in a typical filling station up to 6 scales are installed side by side in a chain conveyor. The filling scales are equipped with pneumatic lifting bridges and a pneumatic control, which will automatically provide the change of cylinders. In order to increase the capacity of an “inline” filling station from one to two 6-scales operation a second conveyor may not be needed but instead integration into one single conveyor will be achieved on a routine basis. Also, a plant may be constructed in such a way that different cylinder sizes may be handled either on one or on both filling lines. Automatic leak testing, electronic control scales, shrinkage systems may be installed as required. Chain conveyor systems Inline filling systems Series Filling Plant • Plant Components - Scales are installed in a roller conveyor - Transport of cylinders is automatic - Filling of small and large cylinders possible without problems - Capacity: from 60 to 150 cylinders / hour - The station is equipped with electronic tightness testing, shrinkage unit, control scale is an option Roller conveyor system for the transport of empty and full cylinders In the “Series Filling Plant” one roller conveyor system may handle the several 6-scales filling plants. These “declivity roller conveyors” are of a special design which does not need any drive force. The cylinders roll automatically in the “declivity” arrangement. The starting level is arranged in such a way that small cylinders may be placed with ease on the conveyor. This type of cylinder transport offers a favourable alternative to the costly chain conveyor system. Note: The “Declivity” system allows transporting a cylinder up to 20 meters. For ease of handling so-called roller caps are mounted on the individual scales pushing the filled cylinders on to the roller conveyor. Of course, if large and small cylinders are to be filled within the same plant, the scales have to be equipped Automatic pressure testing unit with a roller folding platform. Electronic check scale Automatic electronic tightness testing unit Cylinder washing machine Automatic shrinkage system Carousel Filling Plants • Palletizing Units - Filling scales are mounted on a carousel - Cylinder transport is achieved automatically by chain conveyor - Capacity: from 250 up 1200 cylinders / hour - Small number of staff available for large filling capacity The carousel filling plants are built for carousels each with five up to twenty-four filling scales. The rotating speed of the carousels is infinitely adjustable and may be adapted to the prevailing cylinder sizes. The transport of cylinders is automatic by chain conveyors with directional adjustment as needed. This type of arrangement offers the highest degree of automation. Manual work is restricted to a minimum. Cylinder movement is automatic. If desired control scale, tightness testing unit, washing plant, shrinkage plant and other accessory items may be added.
