BRIDLE - This bridle has a padded headpiece, designed to reduce
poll pressure. It features an independent noseband that adjusts
from the cheeks on each side, to reduce the number of straps over
the poll.
BLINDS - The blinds are round in shape and can be made more
open or closed by bending the wire filled stays as required.
NOSEBAND - The noseband for Cob, Full and Extra Full bridles
feature a double buckle adjustment and padded chin rest. The Pony
bridle features a single buckle noseband, more suited to the smaller
face. All bridles come complete with removable flash straps fitted to
the noseband.

These cheek pieces are designed for driving bridles
where blinkers are not used. This permits full vision
for the horse. 19mm (3⁄4") strapping to suit Classic
headpieces.
Warning: Open cheeks should only be used on
horses that have been specifically trained to work
in an open bridle. It is dangerous to use them on a
horse that has been trained in blinkers.

Simply slide the keeper onto the poll strap of the
winker stay. There is a soft wire core that allows for

A cavesson style noseband that features double buckle adjustments with
a chin pad. It is fitted by sliding through the loops on the inside of the
bridle cheek.
An elegantly styled cavesson style noseband that simply threads through
the cheek strap loops on the inside of the bridle cheeks.
The double adjustment allows a maximum range of fit. It is well padded
under the lower jaw and over the bridge of the nose. All sizes are 19mm
(3/4") wide (not including the padding).

Flash Converter & Strap
Noseband Hanger Straps
Simply and easily convert a regular cavesson style noseband into a
hanoverian style noseband with this conversion kit. Simply fold the
converter over the cavesson and thread the flash strap through the slots
as pictured above.
These straps suspend the noseband behind the bridle cheek. They
attach inside the cheek/blinker assembly with height adjustment via the
cheek buckle. The noseband slides through the loops at the bottom.

safety strap is attached to the underside
of the noseband and up to the throatlash.
It is designed to prevent the bridle being
accidentally pulled off (or rubbed off),
particularly in multiples.

noseband end, so that a lead rope can be
attached when required.

Zilco bridles can be customised by ordering individual bridle parts. When mixing and matching
individual bridle parts, it is important to check the width of the strap on each part as listed. For
example, if ordering blinkers with 19mm cheeks, these will only fit a headpiece with 19mm straps.

wire-filled stays can be shaped to achieve a customised view - wide visibility,
or narrow. The eyes of the Pony and Large Pony size are proportioned to suit
smaller heads.
An elegantly proportioned, patent finish blinker, suitable for ponies and larger
horses who have more delicately shaped heads. The rolled, wire-filled stays may
be shaped to achieve a customised view. This style is available as an option with
all Classic Harness sets.

Cutaway Blinkers & Cheeks

Dolly Varden
This model has the same dimensions as the Classic
Blinker, but with the bottom corner cut away for
increased ground view. These are suited for Team &
Tandem Wheelers. Cheeks are all 19mm (3⁄4") wide.
This design allows the horse to have more
peripheral vision than a standard blind but still
prevents them from seeing behind. Pony cheeks are
13mm (1⁄2") wide, Cob & Full Size 19mm (3⁄4") wide.
