Selected as this Castels site occupies a fabulous location
on the Lac de Pareloup, situated 800m high between the
Tarn and the Aveyron valleys. The pitches stretch out in
gently rising terraces along the lake with a view from
nearly every spot. Most of the services are housed in
pretty stone-face buildings and it is a great site for water

Pitches
Flat, grassy, laid out on terraces, most about 100m². Some of
the pitches with water & drainage are more generous. Not
hedged but divided by the odd tree, giving very spacious feel,
but no privacy. Castels premium pitches with electricity, water
& drainage, garden furniture, parasol, barbecue, fridge and
free Wi-Fi (1 hour per day).

The site is on the Lac de Pareloup near the end of a cul de sac.
From D911 Pont de Salars to Millau road take the D933 south
Attractive aqua complex: one pool 16m x 7m for swimming.
Leisure pool with 2 waterslides. Good paddling pool with mini
waterslides. Sun terrace with sun loungers.
towrds Salles Curan. After 6km turn right onto the D538 to
Canet-de-Salars and then turn left after 200m following signs
to the site.
Activities on Site
Tennis. Cycle hire in high season. Multi-sports pitch for football,
basket ball and handball. Beach volleyball pitch. Table tennis.
Boules pitch. Good children’s play area. Electronic games and
table football in bar. Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing
in lake with own equipment required or hire nearby. There are
signed walking and cycle tracks direct from the site. Two
canoes and two pedaloes for hire. Paragliding in Millau.
Excursions / Places to Visit
Entertainment
High season: children’s club 4 - 10yrs, organised sports
tournaments and evening entertainment with music, karaoke
and shows.
Sanitary Facilities
There are four unisex toilet blocks. The showers are push
button, no temperature control with hook and shelf. They have
no dividing wall but are long and thin so clothes do not get
damp. Individual wash basins, no mixer tap, so hot water for
teeth cleaning. Toilets with paper but no seats. Chemical waste
point.
Services
Well-stocked shop, bar, take-away. Attractive oak beamed
restaurant, but very small and would recommend pre-booking.
Barbecues (except for electric barbecues) allowed. Dogs
accepted. WiFi (chargeable) everywhere on the campsite.
Accommodation
120 mobile homes and chalets mostly in one area, set
amongst new shrubs and trees. There are two and
three-bedroomed mobile homes for 4/6 persons and one, two
and three bedroomed chalets for 4/6 persons. Some of the
accommodation is used by external tour operators.

Canoe trips in Gorges du Tarn and bungee jumping can be
arranged. Pont de Salars. Millau and its viaduct. Gorges du
Tarn. Roquefort caves, 11 of France's prettiest villages.
