Compost Turner
Living and working with Nature Achieve High-Quality Compost with Gujer Compost Turning Machines TG 301 Hydraulic or mechanic drive, for tractors over 70 hp Compost Turner TG 301 Our completely redesigned compost turners are lightweight and compact with an independent hydraulic drumdrive. Various models are available: tractor-pulled, bucket loader-driven or self-propelled units. The technology Easy to operate, mechanically propelled model (TG 301 mechanical) Hydraulically propelled models (TG 301 und TG 201) Fully hydrostatic model SGF 3100 (SF 3400 and 4000 in separate brochure) Built with heavy duty components such as: Saurer Danfoss Perkins engines etc. The core of each compost turner is the heavy duty and state-of-the-art drum. Why turn compost? Our turners, your advantage: Low maintenance cost because of our high quality manufacturing sturdy construction and optimized design! Contact us and we will be pleased to explain the advantages to you. easy operation and handling gentle drum action preserves the crumb structure No odor! Our equipment, in combination with the proper composting method ensures optimized material condition, thus guaranteeing an aerobic composting process, which produes no offensive odors. Minimized wear on (gravel) roads due to our side-swivel counterweight (TG 301) Many options for customization Optimal control of windrow position through lateral shifting appliance; your windrow always stays where it should (option) Krümelstruktur 1 : 50 The oxygen content of compost windrow must be observed on a daily basis. The Lübke-Hildebrandt composting method uses a substitution test via CO²-monitoring. If the CO² content of a windrow rises above 12%, the oxygen level drops under 5%. An aerobic rotting process requires at least 5% oxygen. Therefore the windrow must be turned as soons as the CO²-content rises above 12%. Even during long term storage of mature compost, the CO²-production of the final product must not exceed 1%. Temperature and CO2 in the compost windrow TG 301 Lightweight, compact compost turner For tractors with overal width until 2.35m Solid, agile compost turner with an optimal weight distribution. Capacity up to 700 m³ /h. For the standard model 2 double valves are required on the tractor. (1 without and 1 with flating position) • PTO without shear bolt PTO with a clutch • Axle with hydraulic brake, (Swiss) 30 km/h • Tires 19.00-45/17 AW • Lighting system according to traffic regulations • Support wheel, mechanical swivelling for transport (reduces transport height) • The working pressure from the tractor must achieve min. 190-200 bar • hydraulic Basic equipment mechanic Ideal for road-side composting, small composting facilities and organic farms. Fleece underpassing with rollers • • Swivelled back Working position For transportation, the supporting wheel can be swivelled backward, no dismantling required. • • • • • The Top-Tex cover is gathered over the middle of the tunnel allowing for CO² to escape from the windrow. No more exhausting manual handling of wet Top-Tex covers. Capacity up to 700 m³/h Required tractor 70 - 120 PS Tunnel width 3,0 m Tunnel height 1,6 m Hydraulic pressure 320 Bar working speed at full throttle 300-400 m/h Weight with wide base tires 3650 kg (incl. rotatable counterweight) Total width 2 m (transport position) Total height 3,8 m (support wheel swivelled backward) 3.80 m Technical Data Tractor-pulled compost turner model TG 301 (windrow size 3,0 x 1,5 m) 3.83 m TG 301 mechanical nur Obenanhängung Mechanical drumdrive - the low-cost option The direct mechanical drive provides optimal transmission of forces. The clutch PTO prevents impacts on the drive. This efficient drive is a cost-effective alternative to hydraulic drive. TG 301 hydraulic nur Untenanhängung Hydraulic drumdrive – Advancement through Technology No overload safety device required No impact on the towing vehicle or the turner Fine tuned start up and continuously adjustable acceleration thanks to the hydraulic drum drive Optimal rpm regulation through the variable delivery pump The engine rpm‘s of the tractor can be maintained in an optimal range (approx. 700 turns/min.), resulting in low fuel consumption, while the drum rpm‘s can still be adjusted individually The reversible drum eliminates the need for manual work to clean up windrow ends Low total weight 3650 kg Maximal mobility because of an optimized drawbar Easy refitting of irrigation systems, fleece underapssing, drawbar, hydr. shield, lateral shifting and/or pusher axle Excellent price-performance ratio Compl. irrigationsystem incl. 1‘000lt tank Control desk mechanical version 2 valves with control board Potentiometer for an optimized turning pace Pusher axle with continuously adjustable drive and AS tires Height adjustment via hydraulic drawbar 40 km/h model (option Switzerland) Lateral shifting Hydr. grooming shield (right side) Hydraulically retractable counterweight; reduces the weight on the inner wheel by approx. 250kg, causing less wear on (gravel) roads.
