1. Prepare U.S.-educated students to
be successful on the NAPLEX®
Objectives:
• Discuss the economic, social, and
administrative influences on drug
development and delivery of
healthcare (FPGEE®).
• Review key concepts in the basic sciences,
including concepts in biology, microbiology,
general chemistry, organic chemistry, and
biochemistry (FPGEE®).

including drug absorption, distribution,
metabolism and excretion, bioequivalence,
and dosage formulation design (FPGEE®).
• Demonstrate application of pharmaceutical
calculations, pharmacokinetics, and basic
statistics (FPGEE® and NAPLEX®).
• Understand the pathophysiology of and
identify presenting signs and symptoms
of common diseases, recommend
appropriate drug therapy, identify goals of
treatment and monitoring parameters, and
summarize key patient counseling issues
(FPGEE® and NAPLEX®).

Graduate Equivalency Exam® (FPGEE®),
and the NAPLEX® exam.

The program is open to all individuals
preparing to take the FPGEE® or
the NAPLEX® exam.
