Pharmacy Exam Review Course is designed to… 1. Prepare U.S.-educated students to be successful on the NAPLEX® Objectives: • Discuss the economic, social, and administrative influences on drug development and delivery of healthcare (FPGEE®). • Review key concepts in the basic sciences, including concepts in biology, microbiology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry (FPGEE®). Pharmacy Exam Review Course March 13–17, 2015 Midwestern University Tomorrow’s Healthcare Team Presented by Chicago College of Pharmacy • Discuss principles of pharmaceutical sciences, including drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion, bioequivalence, and dosage formulation design (FPGEE®). • Demonstrate application of pharmaceutical calculations, pharmacokinetics, and basic statistics (FPGEE® and NAPLEX®). • Understand the pathophysiology of and identify presenting signs and symptoms of common diseases, recommend appropriate drug therapy, identify goals of treatment and monitoring parameters, and summarize key patient counseling issues (FPGEE® and NAPLEX®). Prepare foreign-educated pharmacists to successfully pass the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Exam® (FPGEE®), and the NAPLEX® exam. Audience: The program is open to all individuals preparing to take the FPGEE® or the NAPLEX® exam.
