Saturday: Enjoy our Pot Luck Turkey Dinner. All are invited, please
bring a dish. Sign up at reservation. We provide the turkey and
stuffing. All you need to do is provide your favorite side dish.
October 14: Wednesday – LAST DAY to camp.
October 15: Thursday – We close for the season.

Rules to know - for everyone’s safety and enjoyment
At the Campground
• Registration is for ONE family, ONE camping unit &
ONE vehicle.
• Check-In starts at 1:00 PM. Early check- in, before
11:30 AM, if available, has a fee.
• Check-Out is no later than 11:00 AM. Late check-out
may be available for a fee. It must be arranged at the
office before 11:00 AM. Not available for any of the
cabins.
• Speed Limit is 5 MPH.
• Visitors are at the discretion of management and a
FEE for each visitor and car is applicable, to be paid at
time of registration.
• Parking Passes must be properly displayed at all
times by all registered campers and visitors. All others
are not permitted on our campground. This is strictly
enforced by our security staff.
• Vehicles are to be parked parallel in site, on site’s
graveled area, not on grass. Otherwise it will go to overflow parking lot. Parking of extra vehicles, boats/trailers, are at management’s discretion, for a fee, and only
to be parked in overflow parking lot. No parking on
roads or grass at any time.
• Children’s Safety requires that children under 18
must be accompanied their parent or legal guardian
and be back at their campsite by 11:00 PM.
• Swimming Pool – WARNING: No Lifeguard on duty.
All children under 16 must be accompanied in the pool
area by a parent or guardian at all times.
• Recreational motorized or electric vehicles are not
permitted except for the legally disabled and approved
by management in advance of stay. Licensed drivers only.
• Trespassing on other sites or neighboring property
is not allowed.
• Fireworks, sparklers and firearms are not permitted
on any part of the campground at any time.
• Pond – No wading or swimming. No dogs in pond.
Snapping turtles can cause injury.
• Bicycles on roads only, never on the grass or through
other sites. PA law requires all children 12 and under to
wear a helmet while riding a bicycle. No bike riding
after dusk. Bicycles must be kept parked in bike racks,
not on grass areas.

Support Care Camps!
• Utility sinks only are to be used for the washing of
dishes and laundry.
• Pets must be registered and kept on a leash no longer
than 6’. Pets cannot be left unattended on any parts of
the campground, including the Cabins. Please be courteous and keep your pet from disturbing others. Pets
are not permitted in any buildings, including the pavilion, store decks or on the playground, sandbox, or
pool area. 2 Pet Walk areas are provided. Be sure you
clean up after your pet at all times. The KOA Pet Policy
is observed at our campground and a copy is available
for review in the store.
At Your Site
• Quiet Hours are 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM and are enforced. No generators can be run at any time.
• Campfires are to be kept small and within the fire ring
only. Do not move your campfire rings. If it conflicts with
your rig, advise the staff at the time they escort you into
your site. No burning of trash in fire rings. All fires must
be fully extinguished when site is unattended. No
downed wood can be collected, no part of any trees
can be cut down, and no holes can be dug for any reason. Please respect our property.
• A Tent is permitted only on a tent site. Management
may permit a child’s pup tent, but must be recorded in
the camper’s file at time of registration. Otherwise
removal will be required. Only floorless dining tents or
gazebos may be erected on the grass with prior
approval.
• Clotheslines must be no longer than 6' and have
something hanging on them or be taken down. No
nails or screws can be put in any trees.
• Mats or carpets are not permitted on grass, only on
the gravel areas.
• Washing your RV or car at the campground is not
permitted.
• Garbage is collected daily at 11:00 AM at your site.
Please bag, seal and put it at curb for pick up. At other
times, a dumpster in the overflow parking lot is available for your garbage. Additional bags may be picked
up at the store. Please help us recycle (special bags are
given at registration).
If campers or their guests do not follow the rules, they
may be asked to leave without refund. We reserve the
right to refuse service to any person or group.
All campers and their guests are liable for any damages
they cause to any of the campground property.
Management of the Erie KOA is not responsible for
damage, injury or loss by accident, theft or fire to either
the property or person of a camper or their guests.

• Formed 10,000 to 14,000 year ago as the last glacier
receded.
• Surface area of 9,930 square miles.
• Ranks 12th largest of world’s freshwater lakes.

• Maximum width 57 miles.
• Maximum depth 210 feet (9 miles off Long Point, ON).

• The treachery of Lake Erie has claimed over 500 ships
since the launch of the Griffin in 1679.

than in the other four Great Lakes combined.
• First woman to swim across Lake Erie was Halli Reid,
off North East, PA in 17 hours on Aug 9, 1993.
