This is a fun competition to be run alongside the jumping classes in the Bluebell Ring.
Open to all and may be split according to age. Entrants can have as many goes as they
like and riders may be led.

£3 per round, pay at ring.
Note: for classes 9 to 11 protective boots or bandages may be worn for the jumping phase
but must be removed for the showing phase. No other change of tack or rider is permitted.
Martingales may be worn. A fall of horse or rider will result in elimination on medical grounds.
Class to be judged 60% jumping, 40% conformation and manners.

Championship Points. Southernden Farm offers a rosette to the highest placed
member under 14 on 1st January of the current year. Side Saddle International offer a
rosette to the Adult Member and Manor Grange Stud Show Centre to the Junior
Member, judged to be the best turned out

The sole criterion of this class is the elegance of the picture presented by horse and
rider. Attention may be paid to the rider’s personal appearance but detailed inspection
of rider or tack is not required. Fancy dress or period costume is not permitted.
Competitors are required to walk, trot and canter. No individual show is required, but
the Judge may ask groups of three or four riders to give short displays. Four Special
rosettes will be awarded: to the highest placed Adult members wearing a silk hat, a
bowler hat, safety hat and the highest placed Junior Member of the S.S.A. carrying their
current Championship Points Cards.
NB: Silk hats are permitted to be worn by Adults IN THIS CLASS AT ANY TIME OF
DAY. Juniors MUST wear hats to current British Riding Clubs standards for this class.

Rules
Senior Showing and Dressage Ltd
No spurs, no galloping, no wearing of face/body jewellery. Foals not permitted. In hand classes minimum age of handler 9
yrs. Those riding or handling stallions must be over the age of 16 years.

The Showing Register Riders & In Hand Championships
TSR Riders & IN HAND Championships - This show is a qualifier for the 2015 TSR Riders/In Hand Regional Championships.
Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South
West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter
any horse/pony in any number of Finals!
TSR Riders Champs - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand Champs - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers
MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details at

RB Equestrian Chiltern and Thames Rider Championships 2015
To be held at Herts County Showground on Sunday 13th September 2015. The Showing and Show Jumping take place at the
same venue on the same day. Riders must obtain their membership number from CT Rider before entering a qualifier. They
can do this by calling 01582 748983 or visiting www.chilternrider.co.uk/Membership/showmembers.htm
Riders cannot qualify if they do not have a membership number. CT Rider will confirm the riders who have qualified by
sending them an EMAIL.

TGCA In Hand and Ridden Classes. Show number: TGCA/06/15/071
These classes are qualifiers for the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show, The Traditional
of the Year Show “TOYS” 18th and 19th September 2015 at Onley Grounds EC, Warwickshire. These classes are open to all
traditional gypsy cobs. You do not need to be a current member or to have your horse registered with the TGCA in order to take
part in these classes. Qualification will go to the top 3 in each section, youngstock, not exceeding 142 cm and 142 cm and above
in senior in hand and ridden classes.
All exhibits must be registered (passports over-stamped) and owners and handlers be fully paid up members either prior to, or
within 21 days of the show date. Existing members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature.
Non members will receive a qualification card from the judge and need to join the TGCA and register their horse within the 21
day timeframe in order to validate this qualification. Please put the show number on your card.
All stallions (four years and over) must be licensed with the TGCA prior to the show and must display their TGCA stallion disc on
their bridle when competing in order to qualify for TOYS. Non licensed stallions may compete in the classes but are not eligible
for qualification. All stallions and colts (two years and over) must be bitted when in the ring. Foals born in the current year are
not permitted to be shown in TGCA classes, though they may be shown at TOYS.
Ridden Classes: Exhibits must be 4 years and over and comply with the above. Additional TOYS qualification is awarded to
the highest placed junior rider and the highest placed exhibitor eligible for the restricted category in the class (i.e. rider and
exhibit NOT to have qualified for HOYS, RIHS, Olympia or been placed 1st to 3rd at county level or any TOYS Finals in the past 24
months). Cards need to be signed for the categories.

Equifest
This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the 12th – 16th August 2015.
The two highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify. The following classes are Equifest Qualifiers:
10-13, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23-29.
ESUK
This Show is affiliated to ESUK, taking place at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire on the 25th – 26th July 2015.
The three highest exhibits will qualify in each affiliated class.
TARRA
TARRA Ridden: Open to all Weatherbys (or relevant foreign thoroughbred authority) registered Thoroughbreds raced or unraced
(passports may be checked) 4yrs and over owned and ridden by an amateur. Ideally racing name of horse to be used on entry form.
Horses must be registered with RoR and have a RoR number which should be stated on the entry form. Class will be judged under a
‘riding horse’ format without ‘type’ being taken into consideration. Injuries and blemishes caused through racing will be ignored. The
first two horses will qualify and qualification will pass down the line to fourth place only. The judge may ride.
This is a qualifier for the TARRA Ridden Championship at Aintree, August 2015.
TARRA Amateur definition: An individual who does not receive any remuneration from the showing, riding or production of
show horses. Individuals employed in other equestrian disciplines shall be classified as amateurs for the sake of the TARRA show
series. Any breaches of this ruling will be taken seriously and may result in disqualification from future classes.
Side Saddle Association
Run under SSA rules defined in the current Members’ handbook. Open to SSA registered adult members and non-members
aged 18 or over on 1st January of the current year. Members carrying their current championship points cards are eligible for
SSA rosettes to 3rd place and SSA championship points. Side Saddle International offer a rosette to the adult member judged
to be the best turned out.
General Conditions of Entry
1. No liability shall fall on the Organisers, Landowners, Judges or Officials in respect of any loss, damage or injury
howsoever caused and all competitors are deemed to be liable to indemnify the said persons in respect of any such
loss, damage or injury.
2. Every effort will be made to keep to the schedules, but we reserve the right to alter the order and composition of classes
or to cancel them.
3. Any competitor may be warned or disqualified for improper or excessive use of whips, spurs etc or other actions which
the Judges or Officials consider warrants such penalty.
4. Correct riding attire must be worn at all times. ALL RIDERS, whether competing or not, must wear the correct headgear
with a harness properly adjusted and fastened - skull caps must be worn with a silk. The following hats are acceptable.
British and European standards: PAS015 (1998 or 2011), BSEN1384 (1997 or 2012), EN1384 (1996) and must be BSI
Kitemarked. American standards: all SEI, ASTM F1163 (2004a) or 04a Snell E2001. Australian and New Zealand standards:
all SAI AS/NZS 3838 (2006). Riders are responsible for their own safety and failure to wear the correct headgear will result
in elimination.
5. All horses being ridden on the showground must be 4 years or older.
6. Stallions must be handled or ridden by people who have attained their 14th birthday on the 1st January in the current year.
7. The ruling of the judges is final. All complaints must be put in writing and handed to the secretary with a deposit of £20
within 15 minutes of the incident, returnable if the objection is upheld.
8. Entries may be refused without reason being given.
9. A refund (less admin fee) will be issued for withdrawn entries on production of a medical/veterinary Certificate or at the
Secretary’s discretion.
10. Change of horse and/or rider must be notified to the Secretary 15 minutes before the start of the class or the entry will
become void.
11. ALL DOGS must be kept on leads (non-extending) at all times.
12. It is the responsibility of competitors to know the rules – our stewards and officials are there to help and advise. Please
remember all our helpers are volunteers.
13. In the unlikely event of cancellation, entry fees will be refunded but the organisers reserve the right to make a
deduction to help cover their unrecoverable costs.
