Guys…this is football. For every guy who gets the big hit…someone gets big hit. If you’re the guy that gets big hit, get up shake your head, slap yourself and get ready for the next play. Illegal retaliation will get you ejected. You’ll get your chance at a later date. If you can see the other players’ eyes and the whistle hasn’t blown…knock him out. But if you cheap shot him…you’ll be dealt with. We expect you to play right on the edge, but do not go over the line. 2. There are a few rules you need to remember: 1. No blitzing This means you can have up to 4 guys in a 3 or 4 point stance and they’re the only ones who can rush the quarterback in the pocket. If he leaves the pocket, anyone can go get him. 2. No Crack-Back block from wideouts On the crack back block, you must plant both feet, sink your hips and lead with your hands. If you run through the defender, it will be a 15 yard penalty. The second time it is done by anyone…guys will be ejected. 3. Long Snap Rushing On any long snap; Punt, extra point, field goal…you can rush everyone…but you cannot touch the center and you cannot rush through “A” Gap. 4. Fighting is an automatic ejection Throwing a punch will be considered fighting. 5. Celebrations Encouraged Lastly, you can celebrate, but you cannot taunt the other team. Taunting is an automatic ejection. Music Check List Reminder: This is a family event. Select appropriate music in good taste, without swear words or suggestive material.
