The spectrum was taken during the operation of the PT compressor and with the compressor switched off. We compared the results with measurements done on a ADR-PT unit. 200 450 650 800 1200 High Cooling Power The cooling power of the mixing chamber (MC) of a CF model 650 compared to the cooling power of the probe. The red dots show the cooling power of the MC when the heat is applied on the MC self. The blue triangles show the same but heat being applied to the probe . Green triangles and black squares show the cooling power respectively of a non coldremovable probe, and of a coldremovable one. Technical specifications of the CF Models CF-200/450/650/800/1200 - DR unit with 340mm mixing chamber plate. Due to the rubust design, the CF units provide a very stable, low vibration construction (see figure 1). The cool-down time is little over 30 hours, which can be reduced to 20 hours using liquid nitrogen pre-cooling - Joule-Thompson heat exchanger to condense the mixture, followed by a continuous and sintered heat exchanger - Double 3He condensing circuit - Pt resistance thermometers on the 50K and 3K plate, RuO thermometers on the still and 3K sorb pump. Calibrated Speer resistance thermometers on the mixing chamber plate. -Up to three 50mm clear shot tubes down to the 3K plate, with the middle one being standard. Figure 2 Drawing of the CF with insertable probe and 10 Tesla magnet attached to the still shield Picture of the CF with 10 Tesla magnet attached to the still shield Picture of the insertable probe - Optional top-loading probes for quick sample change (see figure 2 for cooling power probe) - Possibility of inserting the probe into a magnet (up to 9 Tesla), placed on the still shield or the IVC shield. Vector magnets either XY or XYZ are also available Oil-free compact Gas Handling System (GHS) - Ceramic-bearing turbo pumps mounted inside of the cabinet, backed by a dry scoll pump. - Two external nitrogen cold traps including nitrogen dewar. - Two helium traps in thermal contact with the PTR. - A roughing vacuum pump for the IVC and OVC. - A triple power supply for still, mixing chamber and sorb pumps provided with LabView drivers - Microprocessor controlled valve panel. - 550mm OD OVC with tripod. - Laptop computer with automatization programs and suitable interfaces Main dimensions of the CF model.
