NOTRE DA ME CLUB Notre Dame Club Visual Identity Guide LOGO GUIDELINES Notre Dame club logos have been developed to be used as the principal “identifier” of all clubs and classes. If used properly, they will represent your group in a clear and consistent manner and promote better recognition and awareness of your group. We encourage you to use these logos on all communications and promotions including printed materials, websites/emails, signage/banners, promotional items, and apparel. For your convenience, we have provided the logos in several different formats. Your club's logo files are located in the club leader's google drive folder. Use these as provided; do not alter the type, color, or shape in any way. EPS FILES EPS files can be used for any print or digital branding and sized to fit any necessary dimensions without losing any clarity or sharpness Two Color Navy The logos were designed in two color. PMS 289 Blue and PMS 117 Gold. This is the way the logo should also appear when used in 4-color. When using the logo in one color, that color should be blue, PMS 289. CLUB CLUB Black White A solid black logo can be used for newsprint or any application where black is the only color option. A solid white logo, or reversed logo, can be used against dark backgrounds. CLUB SIZING The interlocking ND should never be less than 1/2" in height. COLOR The primary colors are ND Navy Blue (PMS 289, C98 M84 Y46 K51) and ND Gold (PMS 117, C22 M39 Y100 K2). The recommended navy thread color for embroidery is Madeira 1243, RA 2303, or GS/SULKY 505. The recommended gold thread color is 14kt Gold 2586. GIFS, JPGS, & PNGS Club.GIF Club.JPG This logo is to be added to your Club website, also try using it for your Facebook Profile picture. This logo can be added to small print media and used on the web/email as a small image or social media profile picture. CLUB Club.PNG PNG files can be used throughout the web and in PowerPoint presentations. This logo has a transparent background. CLUB UNIVERSITY TRADEMARKS In addition to the Notre Dame club logos, groups may use the following official University trademarks: the interlocking ND; the Leprechaun; the Dome; and the Shamrock. These trademarks can be used in the design of apparel or other promotional items for events such as game watches, student send-offs and special outings. Please contact Kiran Mistry at kmistry@nd.edu if you like a file of one of these marks. All items and communications using University trademarks must be submitted to the Alumni Association Marketing Department and Notre Dame Licensing for review and approval prior to use. Please email designs to Anne Faherty at afaherty@nd.edu. When using any graphics from the University, be sure that the registration mark or trademark is visible. These marks should never be altered in any way. UNIVERSITY & CAMPUS PHOTOS A variety of low resolution University and campus images are available for club websites at no charge and can be found in the ClubHub image gallery. Images for print production are available for purchase at photos.nd.edu. Prices will vary with sizes. ND LICENSING DEPARTMENT Notre Dame is committed to conducting business affairs in a socially responsible manner. Notre Dame has adopted a code of conduct for its licensees, developing the Freedom of Association Policy, which excludes branded goods from certain countries, the most significant one of which is China. It is therefore imperative that ND clubs, classes, and groups use a licensed Notre Dame vendor when producing anything with a University mark or logo including club, class, or group logos. For more details and to view a list of licensed vendors, visit licensing.nd.edu. A list is also available at the ClubHub web site. The Notre Dame Club & Class Shop offers a convenient, fast and cost-effective way for ND clubs to obtain logo merchandise and promotional items.
