History of the Podiatry Program

Established in 1997, the program received
accreditation from the Council on Podiatric
Medical Education as a PSR-24
In 2000, the program was approved as a PSR
24, allowing residents to train for 36 months
In 2001, the program was approved to train 3
residents for each training year
Program will be seeking reclassification as a
PM&S 36 in 2007

Our Residents have come from Barry, CCPM,CPMS, NYCPM, OCPM,

receive a certificate of completion of a PSR 24 (36
month) podiatric surgical residency program *
*Seeking Reclassification to a Podiatric Medicine
and Surgery 36 program in 2007.
