BIOGRAPHY:
If it hadn't been for a family cookout where a young Alejandro
discovered a relative’s recording studio, this journey would of gone by the
wayside. Fascinated by the equipment in the studio, he was eager to learn
more about the craft of making music. His love for house music came shortly
after, listening to his father’s old WBMX cassette tapes where he discovered
house legends like Bad Boy Bill, Julian Jumpin’ Perez and Farley Jackmaster
Funk.
Inspired by the music he discovered on those tapes, Alejandro began to
practice mixing records before school every morning, eager to become as
good as the pioneers before him. Simultaneously, he was taking advantage of
the booming teen nightclub trend in the Chicagoland era, becoming one of
the few teen DJ’s to explode in the scene. At sixteen years old after hi-jacking
his mother’s desktop computer, he downloaded a copy of FL Studio and began
exploring the depths of making his own beats. His knowledge and passion for
producing only grew stronger from that point on, leading him to build his own
studio which allowed him to further his craft and release records by age twenty
one.
Most recently after having spent several months living and performing in
London, he has developed a deeper cultural experience that has enabled him
to create a clearer vision of who he is as an artist. Now back home in Chicago,
Alejandro aims to fabricate the European house culture back home in the
States.
