Years of research and testing in collaboration with
the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia (IBV), the
Laboratory of Ergonomics and Biomechanics of the
University of Pavia and internationally renowned football
clubs, have enabled us to develop high performance
systems that always meet the requirements of
customers and players from around the world.

THE FILAMENT EVOLUTION
The constant commitment to innovation that has always
characterized us has led to the development of a range
of artificial fibres that distinguish Mondo for its high
performance and quality standards.
Monofibre 3NX, with the unique shape of the filament,
is designed to offer a biomechanical behaviour,
guaranteeing:
››better resistance to abrasion and breakage
››greater dimensional memory and resilience
››comfort (thanks to the NSF lubricant technology)
››performance enhancement in terms of rolling and ball
rebound
It is produced with two shades of green combined in
each tuft and has been designed to ensure ongoing
optimal resistance against UV radiation and climate
changes.
Monofibre 4Play is a two-tone straight monofilament
that offers exceptional friction, resilience and resistance
to wear and tear. The width and thickness of the
fibre have been designed to give excellent technical
characteristics and an extraordinary aesthetic
appearance.
Mondoturf fibrillated polypropylene has a structure
with a new and unique fibrillation alignment model. The
more dense cutting sequence and greater cutting length
allow for progressive fibrillation, befitting the aesthetics
and the durability of the fibre over time.
Monofeel is the new generation of fibre that ensures
durability, performance and playing characteristics
similar to those of natural grass. With a reduced
fibrillation structure and thanks to a new polymer, it
improves the aesthetics of the pitch, greatly increasing
the durability of the fibre.
BACKING: TOUGHNESS TECHNOLOGY
Mondo has developed a special fixing process using
polyurethane as an impregnating agent: a new system
of much higher quality than any other bonding agent
on the market. The fibres are woven on double-layer
polypropylene backing and secured by the application of
polyurethane.

ECOFILL®: PERFORMANCE INFILL
Granulated thermoplastic rubber based infill, produced
exclusively by Mondo laboratories for sport applications.
We recommend it for its performance characteristics
(such as controlled compaction and elasticity,
dimensional memory, excellent efficiency and
performance unchanged over time) and because it is
eco-friendly and recyclable.
Mondo recommend using ECOFILL® in artificial turf
systems installed on the Fine Tuned System® elastic
underlayment. There are other infills such as SBR or
SBR encapsulated in polyurethane.
FINE TUNED SYSTEM®:
THE DRAINING ELASTIC UNDERLAYMENT
Prefabricated, draining and uniform cushioning
substrate. It is comprised of rubber granules
encapsulated with polyurethane resin and covered with
two layers of non-woven fabric. Mondo has devised a
new fixing system with a special tape used for the union
of the Fine Tuned System® rolls, with tangible benefits
not only for aesthetics, but also performance, durability
and saving of installation times and costs. Coupled
with the Mondo artificial turf, it ensures compliance of
the system with the requirements of the main sector
regulations, both international (FIFA) and national (FIGCLND, AFNOR).
Furthermore, it comprises more than 70% of postconsumer materials, for lower environmental impact.
MONDOTURF FTS3 SYSTEM
The system Mondoturf FTS3 achieves excellent results
in terms of environmental compatibility, and the perfect
synergy between the three elements that compose it
gives the pitch superior biomechanical properties.
The system also meets the parameters set by European
legislation and the FIFA Quality Concept manual.

Soccer requires a playing field that offers excellent
biomechanical response in both player-surface
interaction and ball-surface interaction. Since it is very
important to obtain good shock absorption and vertical
deformation or stability, sand and rubber granule fillers
are included between the fibers of the artificial turf. The
rubber granule fillers facilitate player traction, while
also minimizing the risk of injury.
Incorporating an elastic base layer under the turf helps
to achieve these conditions, as well as improving the
system’s durability. To guarantee sports function, a good
artificial turf system will be resistant and highly durable
over time due to UV protection. In addition, artificial turf
with firm, upright blades will enhance rebound, ball roll
and resistance.
Mondo recommends the use of high quality systems
incorporating elastic base layers, turf filaments

In our Research Centre in Zaragoza, we design and
develop the best equipment for practising sport, thanks
to the applied research experience gained through years
of presence in the field.
The Mondo team of engineers and architects know
that the quality of sports equipment is crucial for the

is designed and produced entirely in our plants,
where the production process is controlled and
supervised at all stages.

VIDEOSCREENS AND LED SYSTEMS
Mondo’s experience and investments are in the most
advanced R&D in order to ensure maximum quality and
reliability of our Videoscreens at both the design and
technological level.
CUSTOM CONSULTING
Mondo’s technical department prepares a personalised
study to define the most suitable solution for the needs
of each customer.
The initial engineering analysis identifies the
appropriate structural elements, selecting the most
suitable LED model and control system electronics.
In addition, Mondo designs and develops specific
Mondovideo software also allowing use of the
Videoscreen as an electronic scoreboard.
Our team brings together the best professionals in the
sector, with a customer support service that begins with
the installation and continues throughout the post-sales
phase.

SEATING SYSTEMS
Mondo has created a division dedicated to the
production of seating solutions, with an offer that ranges
from seats to stands for artificial turf facilities.
The Mondodoseat and Venelli Seating product range can
adapt to the various customer needs, with monobloc and
tip-up seating.
Mondo also proposes specific solutions for removable
and portable stands.
We provide our expertise to create a detailed drawing,
which is specific for each project.
