For one year, people were asked to submit their favorite funeral wishes to a dedicated website. Following, three episodes of the TV show My Favorite Funeral were broadcasted on Dutch television. In these episodes, young candidates share with us how and why they want to end their lives. The TV show got wide media coverage in the Netherlands. The candidates (performed by actors) and their stories were taken very seriously. Reviews of the series appeared in magazines, newspapers and radio programs. With its post-apocalyptic attitude, My Favorite Funeral offers an alternative for the question: Now what? The show has not been exhibited outside the Netherlands yet. This is a proposal for the exhibition of three episodes of My favorite Funeral and a media wall with (translated) articles and critiques.
