Precision manoeuvrability
The exclusive Intelligent Brake and Reverse (iBR) offers a new level of safety and control.
Never before have riders been able to adapt so effortlessly to water conditions. It’s so
innovative, that it has earned the U.S. Coast Guard Boating Safety Award.
The Intelligent Throttle Control (iTC) brings hassle-free operation and precision
to every riding situation. Because your watercraft now starts up in neutral, the engine
can run without propelling the craft forward – giving you safer dockside starts and easy,
stress‑free manoeuvrability.
How does it work? Just like on a bicycle, the brake handle is located on the left side
of the handlebar. If the watercraft is moving forward, squeeze the brake to slow down.
If it’s stopped, squeeze the brake to go in reverse.
And because the throttle and brake controls are right at your fingertips, you never have
to take your hands off the handlebars or your eyes off the water ahead – resulting
in a safer, more intuitive ride.

iBR Mechanism
Operating electronically, the throttle responds to a digital signal instead of a cable. This allows
for more precise engine calibration, resulting in better fuel economy and a lower operating cost.
Additionally, an activity-specific cruise control system lets you set your speed for cruising,
tow sports, navigating a no-wake zone and other activities. A dock mode lowers
the suspension to give the PWC extra stability at idle speed or when trailering. Sport/touring
mode offers a choice between two throttle responses for different riding styles. And Ski
Mode, available on the Wake Pro model, lets you choose from five acceleration profiles
for an even greater tow sport experience.

Superior comfort
Handling and performance
Featuring a suspended upper deck, the Intelligent Suspension (iS) allows the hull
to move independently of the seat, handlebars and footrests with a full 15 cm (six inches)
of separation. This isolates riders from the impact of rough water, leading to more comfort,
confidence and control. So both you and your passenger can ride longer, through all types
of water conditions – and with less strain on your body.
Stepped, stable and strong, the S3 hull takes a page from High-Performance boats.
The step is behind the intake, allowing the hull bottom to be ventilated. It also decreases
pressure at the transom as the watercraft crosses over chop, allowing the bow to stay up
at a positive angle rather than be pushed down into the next wave. This results in reduced
drag and a smoother, faster ride.
The Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS 260 and GTX iS 215 models are factory-calibrated for
a smoother ride at cruising speeds, while the RXT iS 260 has a stiffer calibration for sport
riding and navigating the larger waves of offshore riding. With auto mode, the watercraft
adjusts the settings automatically based on changing conditions or number of passengers.
You can also select one of the nine suspension settings via the handlebar rocker switch.
Available on the GTX Limited iS 260, GTX iS 215 and RXT iS 260 models.
The S3 hull features a narrow chine, minimizing lateral wave impact and roll for better
stability. Increased length and a deep-V design help streamline your passage. And ribbed
construction renders it extremely solid. It also features both upper-deck and under-the-hull
splash deflectors.

The iBR system offers a whole new level of safety and control. Just like on a bicycle, the brake
handle is located on the left side of the handlebar – meaning you stay focused on the water
ahead. If the watercraft is moving forward, squeeze the brake to slow down. If the watercraft
is stopped, squeeze to go in reverse. A simple, intuitive feature that results in confident riding
and worry-free lending. Standard on Sea-Doo GTX Limited iS 260, RXT iS 260, RXT-X 260 RS,
systems, which draw water from the riding environment directly into
the engine. Sea-Doo watercrafts, however, feature an exclusive CLCS,
which uses coolant to keep the engine running at ideal temperatures –
much like a car’s radiator. Closed-loop cooling also keeps out corrosive
saltwater and debris, meaning you’ll be on the water more and in the shop less.

Sea-Doo personal watercrafts offer more peace of mind than any other manufacturer with their exclusive standard features and iControl technology. However,
you should still remember to always wear the appropriate protective equipment and riding gear whenever you’re out there enjoying the water – because a safer
experience is a more memorable one.
For starters, all riders are required to wear an approved personal flotation device (PFD) certified for use with a personal watercraft. Additionally, all riders
should always wear wetsuit and/or neoprene bottoms as it will prevent injuries that may be caused by the personal watercraft's jet thrust – remember that
normal swimwear does not provide the same level of protection.
Extra protective equipment like footwear, gloves and goggles is also recommended for a safer, more enjoyable experience. You can find the items below at
