Toilet Flush Valve Seal Replacement
We just found out that the flush valve seals in the Mansfield No. 160 toilets installed by
Dragas deteriorate and are stretched out of shape by water pressure after several years of
use. This makes the toilets harder and harder to flush and can eventually cause the
mechanism to break. The seals are very easy to replace with no need for tools. A video

The photo shows a new seal which is flat and smooth, and an original seal which has
been misshapened by use. Replacement seals were found at Comet Plumbing in Virginia
Beach at a cost of just over $2. Other plumbing supply stores may stock then as well.
