MEET #4 RESULTS
CBST: 506 and BMST: 943
Despite the final score, there were many “wins” in our loss to
Northpointe:
•
A lot of our swimmers improved their times and qualified
for RWB! (See “Invitationals” article on page 2)
SET-UP & PARKING
Pre-meet set-up will be Friday night @ 6:00 PM, to set up the
concession stand.
As Dorie on Finding Nemo always says, “just keep swimming,
swimming, swimming…”
Meet-day setup will begin @ 6:00 AM Saturday morning before
the meet. Please observe “No Parking” signs. Remember to sign
the volunteer hours form! Equipment help gets 2 times the
amount of time you actually work – SO, come help with SETUP
and TAKE DOWN Saturday.
If you would like to view the PDF of the meet results, you need
to log on and go to Swim Meets > Result Files. If you want to
see if your swimmer has qualified for one of the invitationals,
you can go to Swim Meets > Invitational Qualification. If your
swimmer has qualified, then their time will be the color green.
TAKE DOWN:
THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL – we need EVERYONE to help!!
OTHER INFORMATION:
No smoking allowed in pool deck area or under covered
pavilion. Concessions will be available. Swimmer drop-off area
is curbside in front of the pool.
VOLUNTEER FAMILY HOURS:
Make sure that you sign up with the Volunteer Coordinator with
a READABLE full family name and swimmer name to allow us to
give you proper credit. Keep track of your own hours to help us
in the event of tracking errors please.
NOTE FROM COMPUTERS
This weekend’s meet was extremely difficult due to the high
volume of no-shows and late arrivals. I want to remind
seasoned families and inform new families that if a swimmer
has not checked when the scratch meeting begins, they will be
scratched from their relays…NO EXCEPTIONS!!
We hate disappointing swimmers when we are forced to
scratch relays, so for this last dual meet only those swimmers
that RSVP “YES” will be included in relays. If there are any
issues logging on to the system, you must notify us ASAP.
GO DOLPHINS!!
Find the “JVS @ CBST” email and just click the button.
MEET AVAILABILITY
NOTE FROM COACH
PLEASE take a moment to log on to the CBST Website and RSVP
your swimmer if you plan to attend Saturday’s meet. If you
have ANY issues at all, please email us to
president@cbstdolphins.com and we will help you out. RSVP
closes on Tuesday at Midnight. Only those who RSVP Yes will
be entered into relays.
Now that summer is here, he expects to see all his swimmers at
practice. Swimmers that are unable to make practice should
provide a reason, otherwise they will not be entered into the
next meet.
If you find out at the last minute (after Tuesday night up to
Saturday morning) that you cannot attend the meet, then let
the Coach know by phoning a friend to tell the computer person
at the meet.
TEEN VOLUNTEERS
Let us know if any of you are interested in obtaining a couple
extra hours by helping be a timer at invitationals like
Pentathlon.

POSTING RESULTS
Per NWAL rules, results cannot be displayed for
public access. If you are a CBST team member, a PDF
of meet results are available at the NWAL-assigned
site. Scores are available to the public, but individual
results require users to be logged on to the site.
Once you are logged in, you can see results in one of
two ways. 1) Go to Swim Meets > Results or 2) Swim
Meets > Result Files. Results are only available
AFTER a score has been posted.
PHOTOS AT MEETS
If you have taken any photos at the swim meets,
please send them to president@cbstdolphins.com,
and they can be uploaded to CBST website. Thanks
for sharing!
BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOMINATIONS
The CBST Board Members are volunteers, just like all
parents of swimmers on the team. The CBST Board
works off and on throughout the year to plan each
season.
If you are interested in nominating yourself and/or a
parent that you feel would be a great addition,
please notify a sitting Board Member with your
nomination.
VOLUNTEER DEPOSITS
If you plan on receiving your initial $175 volunteer
deposit, your family must have worked the required
time. It takes MANY hours to run a swim meet. We
have several families who are always helping, but
they are getting tired. Remember, no helpers, no
team, and NO REFUND. Family hours for the first
two meets have been counted and were sent out last
week. Please make sure you know where your family
stands with hours.
Attached is the current status of volunteer hours.

efficiently. Thank you!!

Have you checked the pool bulletin board lately? Read the weekly
newsletter? Checked out the website? Well! It is definitely time to do this
as there is a lot of information.
We will begin posting information concerning the Year-end party soon.
We need everyone to pitch in and volunteer, in order to make the event
enjoyable for EVERYONE. Please contact a Board Member if you can help
with planning.

INVITATIONALS
Invitational meets are special meets held during the month of
June/July that are hosted by various swim clubs. In order to

event that meets the qualification of the club hosting the meet.
As in the past, the CBST has again chosen to attend the following
meets this year:
PENTATHLON
Good luck swimmers!!
June 12, 2016 @ Klein Collins High School
20811 Ella Boulevard, Spring, TX 77388

end of each meet date specified or you will be unable to attend
the Invitational meet your swimmer qualifies for. See either
Angela Bueglar or Misty Villarreal.

LOST AND FOUND
There are many items starting to accumulate in our Lost &
Found! Please check this box if you are missing anything.

to their rightful owner. All usable items remaining in Lost &

Assistance Ministries.
The Northwest Aquatic League (NWAL) sanctions the Concord Bridge
Swim Team. NWAL can be found at www.nwal.org. There is a lot
