GROWING, FEEL GOOD EVENT
For 8 years my committee of volunteer professionals
and I have put together this traditional country event.
Now in it’s eighth year, and running with the Tractor
Ted Farm Show, it has grown to be a must see event
in the regional calendar. Volunteers, charities and
local businesses all get involved to make this a hugely
successful fundraiser with ALL PROFITS being donated
to many Wiltshire based charities.

A family outing with traditional values
The show is held in the glorious grounds of Bowood Park directly in front of the 18th Century façade of Bowood House.
Bowood has been the Lansdowne family home for over 250 years, and the house looks out over what has been
described as one of the most beautiful parks in England.
Bowood has an established reputation as a major visitor attraction and is very well known locally. It is centrally
located in North Wiltshire with good road access and three entrances for easy traffic flow.

MAIN AREAS
NEW Tractor Ted’s Grow Your Own - £2,000
Greenfingered displays and activities to get children growing,
picking and eating their own food. Seed planting, water play,
sand play and generally messing about with mud. With the
infrastructure of a large traditional marquee (~40 x 20ft) ,
a picket fenced boundary and enormous ground area, this is
a wonderful opportunity to make a big impact with products
and plants for Grow Your Own. Retailing merchandise from
a dedicated area of this display will also be possible.
Sponsor can supply 2 banners with logo and provided with
10 show tickets with full access to VIP tent.
Cookery Stage - £2,000
Local master chef and cookery school owner, Peter Vaughan, will
be arranging hands on events involving lots of local children and
inviting audience participation in our cookery tent.
The cookery stage takes the form of a traditional pole marquee
40ft x 20ft . You are welcome to supply 2 banners with your logo
of approximately 2m x 1m which will be attached to the outside of
the marquee. You will be provided with 10 show entry tickets, with
full access to VIP tent.
Shopping Village - £1,000
The Shopping Village takes the form of a large frame marquee
approximately 120ft x 40ft.
You are welcome to supply 2 banners with your logo of
approximately 2m x 1m which will be attached to the side of the
marquee. You can also decorate the outside walls and inside
ceiling with your own promotional material and bunting. You will
be provided with 6 show entry tickets, and full access to VIP tent.
NEW Olivants Equine Display - £1500
Sponsor this brand new event which see fabulous PRE Spanish
horses perform with their breeders and owners the Olivant family.
All aspects of horsemanship and even entertaining tricks will
transfix the crowd. Equestrians everywhere will want to see this
display. Sponsor this display and your will have space for
2 banners with your logo around the display ring and at the
Olivant waiting area, together with 6 show tickets and full
access to the VIP tent.

As a sponsor of one of these main attractions, you

Bob Hogg’s Lamb National Sheep Racing - £750
The most talked about display of 2012. Watch the agile Herdwick sheep
negotiate the race track. Hilarious entertainment. Choose your colours and
place your bets, with names such as Red Ram and Sheargar.
Digger Display - £750
One of the favourite displays of the day featuring Digger Dave and
Trencher Tim and their JCB diggers. These chaps captivate the audience
with their skill and trickery on their impressive shiny machines!
Bale Wrapping with Les - £750
Les is Tractor Ted’s most famous actor and shows the packed crowds how
silage bales are wrapped. Fascinating fun and a display not to be missed.
If you are lucky you may get Les’ autograph!
Combine Harvester - £750
Although it is too early to cut wheat in the field, this brand new combine
arrives in the ring and hitches on a cutting table, powers up the engine
and does a few clever moves.
Tractor Ted Tractor & Trailer Rides - £500
Your company name will become part of the ride name e.g. the Tractor
& Trailer Rides, and your company name will be listed in the programme
and under this item in the timetable. You are welcome to supply 1 banner
with your logo on approx 2m x 1m in dimension which will be displayed
close to the Rides. There will be 4 tractors and 4 trailers operating. You will
be provided with 6 show entry tickets.
One Man & His Dog - £750
A wonderful display of the timeless skill of sheep dog ability. Always a real
crowd puller and these dogs are some of the best in the business.
Tractor Ted Static Displays
As sponsor of this ever popular area, you are

approx 2m x 1m in dimension which will be placed
in the display ring. You will be provided with 4 show

A fully interactive display to fascinate all ages, watch eggs hatching and

An excellent demonstration with professional shearers and Bowood
sheep, assisted by child participants.

Every small boy’s dream to learn how to change those

Racing of many types - Ferrets, snails and maybe even pigs! With good
commentary and lots of riders and races to choose from this will keep the
whole family engaged and cheering.

The eccentric ‘Plonkers’ will be playing several sets during
the day in the Beer Garden. As sponsor of this area, you are

Falconry Ring - £500
Returning again, the ever popular and thrilling Falconry display
by John Akerman and his amazing birds of prey.

Mike’s Donkeys are a great pull for small children. To sponsor
