The business world operates today on an increasingly
international basis. Products and services are designed in
one place, made or rendered in another and sold the world
over. Or vice versa.
Since 1995, the volume of global trade has risen annually by
nine percent (source: World Trade Organization).
And the trend is on the up.

Even though the distances remain the same, the journeys,
thanks to advances in transport technology, are getting
shorter. Emerging now at the international transport hubs are
airport cities, around which more and more companies are
grouping themselves.
Anyone, for example, who flies from Singapore to Atlanta can
easily add in a stopover at Frankfurt Airport City in order to
discuss European matters in person on site - and then continue their journey the very next morning.

eight floors, and the five 30-metre high atria impressively
shows off to the visitor the building‘s vertical lines. Taken
together what is created is thus an unmistakable silhouette.
Your international business partners will appreciate the Alpha Rotex building‘s central location. For from here you can
reach anywhere in the world and the world can reach you
in next to no time. As you can see, Alpha Rotex is in every
respect unique.
What characterises Alpha Rotex is not just its location. Not
just its triangular footprint. Not just its gold LEED® (Leaders-
hip in Energy and Environmental Design) American seal of
quality. It is its visibility as the tallest building at the airport.
Alpha Rotex is 68 metres high and has above-ground floor
space to lease of 23,000 square metres. Whoever is coming
to see you and from wherever they come - Alpha Rotex is
impossible to miss.
The linear glass and aluminium façade divides the building
horizontally in striking style. The foyer, which encompasses
ENERGY SAVING DIRECTIVE (ENEV):
The building has its energy performance certificate for non-residential
premises pursuant to clause 16 ff. of the Energy Saving Directive (EnEV),
which we automatically show during the viewing to all potential tenants
or buyers. In the event of contracts being exchanged, the tenant or buyer
is given a copy of the certificate there and then or it becomes part of
the lease / purchase contract. Calculated energy requirement as per EnEV
2009 (energy performance certificate):
Local/district heating: 107.0 kWh/(m² a)
electricity mix: 45.8 kWh/(m² a)

WORKING IN THE ALPHA ROTEX
Your company HQ in a landmark building.
Alpha Rotex is no square office block. Internationally
From the atria or the balconies on every floor you look out
on the Frankfurt skyline, airport runways, Quartier Alpha‘s
public square and Gateway Gardens‘ central park. And
often probably also on your then arriving clients, who will
gladly come to visit you at your prestigious premises in
this ideal location.
renowned architects Jo.Franzke designed it with the footprint of a rounded triangle. The building‘s wings rotate
around its core and from the eighth floor up switch their
orientation through symmetric mirroring of the floor plan.
What is created is an unmistakable building shape that
has an impact from afar. When you step out of the lift you
enjoy from every floor the 30-metre high, glazed atria.
In the building itself there is a restaurant with a bistro and
open-air terrace. And those who prefer to step outside can
happily go for a coffee on Quartier Square or for a stroll in
the central park.
This architectural concept creates transparency throughout
the whole building, plus exciting outward and inward views.

ALPHA ROTEX IN GATEWAY GARDENS
Work, leisure and lots of greenery.
The perfect workplace consists of more than an office: it
consists too of an environment with good transport connections, shops, restaurants and entertainment. For where
variety is on offer, a great number of new ideas emerge as
well.
The area is not a mere collection of individual buildings,
but rather is alive with diversity. Gateway Gardens is
being developed based on an urban planning master plan.
Along with the park in between them, the two central
squares form a development axis.
Gateway Gardens is Frankfurt Airport City‘s global business
village. And Alpha Rotex is its architectural landmark.
Between stunning architecture and soothing nature you will
find in Gateway Gardens a great array of leisure activities,
services and shops.
The roads are configured as avenues. Green spaces border
the entire area. The centre of Gateway Gardens is formed
by the spacious park. And adjoining to the north is the
Frankfurt Stadtwald, one of the largest areas of urban woodland in Germany.

pe is an entire city - Frankfurt Airport City. And Alpha Rotex
is in the heart of it.
Whether you‘re intending to go shopping, go for something
to eat, play sport, attend a meeting or round off the day
in a bar with colleagues in order later to accompany your
overseas visitors to their hotel, in and around Gateway
Gardens all of that is possible.
And nor should you forget this: the Rheingau, Taunus,
Odenwald and Spessart areas, ideal for rest and relaxation,
are all in the immediate vicinity.
