Adobe Flex Application: MDI Insight “STARS” Product Image Manager
The STARS Product Image Manager is an Adobe Flex application that allows vendors to update their product images
via a Web interface. The images are used internally by MDI to create shelfing diagrams, advertisements, etc. The tool
provides a quick drill down through thousands of products, making image uploading quick and simple. Bulk
uploading is also supported via a special spreadsheet format. This project included UI design, Flex / ColdFusion
development, and vendor training.

Adobe AIR Application: American Kennel Club “RepReporter”
The AKC RepReporter application allows AKC field representatives to schedule and perform judge observations in real
time in the field. Replacing a paper based system, the application allows representatives to complete a rating scale on
event judges, or, if an Internet connection isn’t available, store it in a SQLite database for syncing at a later date. The
tool employs an on-line/off-line user validation system, automatic data syncing, user activity logging, and automatic
software upgrading. This project involved conception, design, and Adobe Flex and ColdFusion development.

The Merz “Rater Training Web Portal” site is designed to train physicians on how to judge the level of Parkinson’s
disease in their patients, in preparation for an FDA clinical trial. To complete the training, physicians watch a series of
patient videos and rate the level of disease in each by answering a series of study questions. Once complete, the site
calculates the physician’s score, and if applicable, supplies them with a certificate of completion. This project includes
overall design direction, supplemental art design, HTML, CSS, and ColdFusion development, and deployment.

animated sales banners, customer surveys, social media integration, interactive widgets to find stores and check
gift card balances, and recipe videos. The project involved original design, HTML, CSS, jQuery, ColdFusion, and Flex
development, content management, and customization of a Mura content management system.

Site designs are built using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Sites are then built with HTML, CSS, jQuery, and
Adobe ColdFusion. Depending on the site, data updates are managed directly within the code, via a built in site
administration panel or via a CMS like Mura that accesses MySQL and SQL databases for information.
