Grommet Tape System
This system uses a tape with Eight metal rings per yard that is sewn top
and bottom to the wrong side of your drapery. After sewing in place cut
the fabric out from the interior of the metal ring then snap the specially
made grommet in place on the Right side of the fabric onto the ring.
Comes in two sizes- 3/4” and 1 5/8”. (Grommets are made special for
this tape and are one side only.) Inside diameter 3/4” or 1 5/8”.
Step 1
Tape for Grommets-This is a header tape that is sewn
top and bottom onto the top of the wrong side of your drapery. It has metal rings in the tape that accomdates the grommets shown below after the fabric is cut away around the
metal circle. It is the fastest way to make grommet top
draperies. We suggest using fabric at least twice the window
width for a professional look. Eight rings per yard of tape.
