Born and raised on the island of Maui, Hi, Joe Cortez (DJC) has been
involved in the DJ industry for over 20+ years. His experience has won him
DJ battles, earned a spot as a radio hitmixer on KIKI I-94, Q-103 AND
DA JAM 98.3 and recently winning the 1st Annual Las Vegas DJ Show
Competition in 2014. He has also played at popular venues all over
Hawaii and even shared the stage with legendary artists such as
RUN DMC, COOLIO, BONE THUGS & HARMONY & SOUL IV REAL
just to name a few.
His vast knowledge of music along with his creative style of mixing
and cutting has established himself as one of Maui’s most requested
DJ for nightclubs and private events. As an open format DJ, he is
able to mix almost any style of music flawlessly and rock any age
group in front of him. But his passion for mixing old school
tracks has been his true forte.
