The Kurhaus was built in the 18th Century as a curative spa. It
lost its original function and was drastically renovated and converted to function as a hotel.
The management of the Kurhaus Hotel requested us to carry
out a study for the realisation of a wellness centre and
swimming pool in one of the wings which had been added to the
building in 1970.
The challenge was to retain the functionality of the hotel
logistics as well as the monumental characteristics of the
original building, while at the same time creating a sufficiently
attractive wellness centre which could also function
independently from the hotel itself.
