How the Artists Were Chosen
The Downtown Denver Arts Festival is a juried fine art festival.
Over 400 independent artists from around Colorado and
the nation applied for the coveted 140 artist booths
representing 15 artistic medias. The jury panel scored
each artist in each media and the artists with the highest
scores were invited to the festival. The success of the arts
festival is due to the expertise of both the artists and our jurors.

Project C.U.R.E. was founded in Colorado in1987 to help
meet the urgent need for medical supplies and equipment
in resource-poor communities around the world. Millions of
people in developing countries have little or no access to
adequate healthcare services because their local community
health center, clinic or hospital is ill-equipped. Project C.U.R.E.
increases access to medical services – including safe childbirth,
vaccinations, primary care and life-saving surgeries – by
providing the basic supplies and modern equipment that
doctors and nurses need to care for their patients.
