Introducing ms Koningsdam –
Arriving April 2016!
Currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard in Italy, ms Koningsdam represents a
new Pinnacle Class of ship for Holland America Line. When it sets sail on its Premier Voyage in April
2016, the vessel will debut several innovative concepts and new public venues while still featuring
popular amenities guests associate with Holland America Line.
Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy fine dining in several alternative
restaurants including Sel de Mer, a new French seafood brasserie; a new
immersive farm-to-table dinner experience in the Culinary Arts Centre presented
by Food & Wine magazine; a re-designed casual Lido Market with themed
serving stations; a stunning main dining room; and favourites such as Pinnacle
Grill, Canaletto Italian restaurant and pan-Asian Tamarind. The ship also will
feature Holland America Line’s first purpose-built staterooms for families as well
as single staterooms among its 1,331 guest accommodations.
Entertainment is taken to a new level with the energetic Music Walk area
featuring all genres of music showcased in venues including Lincoln Centre Stage
performing chamber music nightly; Billboard on board where live musicians rock
the crowd with chart-topping hits; and the popular B.B. King’s Blues Club in the
Queen’s Lounge bringing the best of Memphis music to sea. World Stage brings
270-degree LED projection to the main showroom, enabling new concepts for
show time performances and immersing the audience in a panorama of sight and
sound.

One of this city’s most renowned hotels, it offers a prime location: right on the
Town Hall Square and adjacent to Stroget (a pedestrian street with a huge
variety of shops) and just across from the Tivoli Gardens. This hotel dates
from 1910 and has completed a thorough refurbishment. All rooms and suites

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR HOLIDAY PRICE (PER PERSON)
• Economy Class airfare
• Cruise aboard your chosen Holland America Line vessel
• Taxes, fees and port expenses for your cruise
• Accommodation as detailed in your itinerary, including breakfast daily
• Air and hotel taxes
Costs are per adult in AUD and are based on twin-share accommodation. Single
prices apply to persons travelling alone and offer sole use of cabin/room.
Pricing is based on lead in available categories. Cabins may have obstructed
views. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in charges, taxes and
currency.
Prices are subject to change with or without notice, whether or not the final
balance of your holiday has been paid. Airfares, cruise and accommodation
are subject to availability at time of booking. Flight schedules are subject to
change without notice. Hotels are subject to change at any time with or without
notice. Does not include additional accommodation made necessary by flight
schedules. Purchase of additional accommodation may be required.
The shipboard credit is in US dollar currency per stateroom or per person as
specified in the itinerary. The shipboard credit applies to a maximum of 2 persons sharing a cabin. The shipboard credit is non-refundable, non-transferable,
not redeemable for cash and cannot be used at the medical centre or casino.
The shipboard credit must be used by completion of the cruise.
RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS
Once you have decided on your holiday, simply ask your Cruiseco Travel Agent
to book it with us. On confirmation of your booking, a written confirmation will
be sent to your Cruiseco Travel Agent. An option will be given for 3-7 days
and before the option expires it will be necessary for you to pay a deposit. The
deposit amount required to secure your holiday may depend on the length of
your cruise. A minimum deposit of $1200 per person will apply. Your Cruiseco
travel agent will advise you at the time of booking, should any additional deposit
amount be required and when they are due. This deposit secures your cruise
berth and hotel room. Final payment is due 100 days prior to departure from
Australia. If your booking is made within 100 days of departure from Australia,
full payment will be due immediately. Failure to pay the deposit by the option
due date may result in the cancellation of your booking.
Any special meal requirements will be made on a “request” basis only and cannot be guaranteed. Please advise your Cruiseco Travel Agent of your requirements at time of booking.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR HOLIDAY PRICE
Gratuities (Hotel Service Charge)*, Optional Tour and Transfer Packages,
passport and visa fees, insurances of all kinds, laundry, phone calls, beverages
(except as specifically mentioned in each itinerary), items of a personal nature,
optional excursions etc. The price does not cover costs and expenses, including
the return to your home, if you leave the cruise of your own volition, or due to
illness, or as a consequence of official action by the government.
*A daily Hotel Service Charge is automatically added to each guest’s shipboard
account. At the time of printing, the Hotel Service Charge is US$11.50 per
guest, per day (US$12 per guest per day for Suites) and is subject to change
without notice. If the service exceeds or fails to meet your expectations, you are
free to adjust this amount at the end of the cruise. The Hotel Service Charge is
paid entirely to Holland America Line crew members and represents an important part of their compensation. A 15% service charge is automatically added to
bar charges and dining room wine purchases.
SIGHTSEEING TOURS & TRANSFERS
Sightseeing tours and transfers are subject to availability at the time of booking
and are at additional cost as outlined on the applicable cruise page. Sightseeing
tours are subject to change at any time. Sightseeing tours and transfers may be
subject to minimum numbers which, if not met, may result in an increased cost
for that service. All transfers are provided on a private basis unless otherwise
specified.
ITINERARY CHANGES
Holland America Line reserves the right to amend the cruise itinerary at any
time up to and during the voyage.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
Travel documents will be sent to you approximately 14 days prior to departure
from Australia (providing full payment has been received). If you are departing
Australia earlier, please ask your Cruiseco Travel Agent to request your travel
documents in good time.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend that you obtain comprehensive international travel and medical
insurance before paying a deposit. Failure to obtain travel insurance will not
waive any cancellation fees in the event that you need to cancel your trip.
BOOKING CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
In the unfortunate event that you should have to cancel your holiday, we must
be notified in writing. The day that we receive this notice in writing will be
considered the date that your cancellation has been made. Certain cancellation
fees apply to your holiday, if cancelled after a deposit or final payment has been
made. These cancellation fees will be levied by the shipping company and possibly the airline and other suppliers, and will be greater the closer to your travel
date that you cancel. You should check very carefully with your Cruiseco Travel
Agent what these fees are, before you make your booking.
A fee of $25.00 per person will be charged for any revision or alteration made
to a reservation after the booking is confirmed.
CANCELLATIONS AND CANCELLATION FEES
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to your Cruiseco Travel Agent.
The following scale of charges (includes G.S.T.) will apply when notice of cancellation is given prior to holiday departure.

These cancellation penalties are in addition to any cancellation fees that may be
levied by your Cruiseco Travel Agent.
QANTAS FREQUENT FLYER POINTS & MEMBERSHIP
Qantas Points and complimentary Qantas Frequent Flyer membership are
awarded on Cruiseco holidays. Qantas Frequent Flyer members will receive one
Qantas Point for every $1.50 spent. Qantas Frequent Flyer membership is complimentary for all customers who have made final payment for their Cruiseco
holiday and are not already Qantas Frequent Flyer members. Qantas Frequent
Flyer membership is non-transferable and is not available in conjunction with
any other offer. Points are not awarded on port charges, government fees, on
board gratuities and air taxes. Qantas Frequent Flyer membership and points
are subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
This offer may be withdrawn at any time which may occur before final payment
is made.
CRUISECO’S STATEMENT OF BUSINESS PRACTICE
Your Cruiseco Travel Agent will provide you, on request, with a copy of Cruiseco’s “Statement of Business Practice”.
OTHER CONDITIONS
It is your responsibility to ensure you have read all of the Booking Terms and
Conditions and to provide valid travel documents. Be sure to ask your Cruiseco
Travel Agent for advice concerning passport and visa requirements. Full cruise
terms & conditions can be found in the Holland America Line 2016 brochure.

BOOKING ARRANGEMENTS
Your booking arrangements are to be made by your Cruiseco Travel Agent, and
the person effecting the booking shall be deemed to have accepted the booking
conditions.
