Benny and Pearl Loving in a Goldfish Bowl
By Linda L. Rand | 18 minute comedy

A short, tender romantic comedy that asks. “Can two fish bring
old childhood friends together?” Well, if the fish can’t, Benny’s
mother sure knows how. This love story is about the need to
hope, no matter how many false starts you have in life. It’s never
too late for the real thing because with timing and persistence,
true love can be just a blink or a fishbowl away.

Still Dreaming
Stretching physical, emotional and mental limits, a group of
older Broadway actors, musicians, and dancers bravely dive into a
production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and find that nothing
is what it seems to be. These former Broadway stars, who live at
the Lillian Booth Actors Home near New York City, embark on a
journey through the magical play.
Filmmakers, Hank Rogerson and Jilann Spitzmiller, take actors
and directors through the pain and exhilaration of re-immersion
in their life’s work amidst the problems of advanced years. The
performance and the play are vital reminders why it’s important to
continue dreaming, no matter the circumstance.

Our Voices: Senior Selfies
By Catherine Frid
Scenes for 1–9 actors, predominantly women
1–15 minute vignettes
Created through a unique
collaboration between a professional
playwright and a group of seniors,
this collection of scenes is based on
true stories from the lives of seniors
today. Our Voices: Senior Selfies
celebrates seniors’ empowerment
through vignettes that are hilarious,
insightful, and poignant. The 19
scenes include “Smart Alec Car Sales,” a mock TV game show “So
You Think You Can Help,” the “Best Adult Child” competition with
