657.1 Conditions and Specifications specific to this class:
657.1.1 This set of rules provides engine rules that can be used in
either Road Racing or Sprint.
657.1.2 Guidelines offered in these pages are subject to the term
"Spirit and Intent" and apply to the technical aspects of this "Stock"
shifter kart class. It is expected that all participants will adhere to the
spirit and intent of these rules. These are guidelines for fair and equitable competition. They are not the basis to "read between the lines"
in order to circumvent the intent.
657.3 Cylinder and Top End: 1997-1999 cylinders are legal. No modification or machining of the cylinder is allowed such as porting, adding
or deleting ports, decking of top or bottom of cylinder, or re-Nikasil.
Cylinder mounting flanges may be spot faced in the area where the nut
meets the flange only. Some factory grinding is performed prior to the
Nikasil process on many cylinders. The Technical Director reserves the
right to disapprove any cylinder supplied by Honda and not modified.
Some OEM cylinders may not be acceptable for IKF competition.
Cylinder length is 3.311 - 3.316.

and modifications to the water outlets, for the purpose of hose connection, are allowed.
Head gasket must be stock OEM.
Squish or deck height measurement through the spark plug hole
will be a minimum of .050 thousandths, using .060 solder. This is not
intended to be a minimum or maximum dimension. This dimension
is a "quick" check to determine if any non-conforming modifications
are present.
657.3.4 Piston, Ring, Wristpin: Piston, ring, wristpin and upper rod bearing must be stock OEM. No modifications of any kind. Lapping the
bottom of the ring is permitted.

IKF Board of Directors
Phone Board Meeting Minutes
WEDNESDAY, JULY 28, 2010
The IKF Board of Directors met via telephone conference
on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 5:15 PM (PST). The Meeting was called to order by President Hilger. Present at roll
call were Directors Mr. Jack Hoegerl, Mr. John Motley, Mr.
Rick Scribner, Mr. Mike Schorn, Mr. Art Verlengiere, Mr. Don
Holmboe, Mr. Glenn Araki, Mr. Ed Diederich and IKF Office
Manager, Pat Eldridge.
the Meeting in a polite manner. Verlengiere states the President can control this at the Meetings. Board agrees.
Financial Update
Hoegerl brings the Board up to date on the Profit and Loss
Report. Discusses pit pass sales, the virtual magazine, IKF
membership. Projects end of the year bottom line. Verlengiere agrees with Hoegerl’s forecast. Discussion of pass sales
to the end of the year.
TaG Engine Homologation
Motley states there is no support for the addition of any
new engines into the TaG program. New 3 year homologation
period starts in 2011. He read a letter to the Board drafted to
the six engine manufacturers that submitted new engines.
Discussion by Board. Board agrees with Motley. Letters
to be sent by the IKF Office.
2011 Grand National Security Deposit
Hoegerl states he was contacted by Bill Rieken, promoter
of the 2011 2 Cycle Speedway/Speedway Midget Grand
National. He has requested to make his Grand National
Deposit on January 1, 2011. Hilger states he will not sign the
Grand National Agreement until IKF receives the Deposit.
Discussion by Board.
Motion by Verlengiere to accept the 2011 2 Cycle Speedway/Speedway Midget Grand National Deposit on January
15, 2011.
Second by Schorn. In Favor: Unanimous. Passed.
Organizational Membership
Scribner states the IKF By-Laws allow for Organizational
Memberships. Feels IKF is not taking advantage of this. Discussion by Board, i.e. what is an organizational member, benefits of being an Organizational Member, benefit to the IKF.
Scribner states this could be a formal line of communication
to the IKF. Not to be confused with track, club memberships.
Hilger suggests they contact a long term member to find out
what an Organizational Member was.
2010 Grand National Shirts, Hats & Pins
Scribner asks permission from the Board to distribute the
leftover Grand National shirts, hats and pins from the Road
Race Grand National to the Region 11 clubs for their year end
banquets. Discussion by Board. Board approves.
Section 102.1.5 – 2010 IKF Rulebook
Motley states there was an issue with this at the Road
Race Grand National. Did not have a 2007 IKF Rulebook at
the time. Feels it should be the competitor’s responsibility
to have the Rulebook. Tech Inspectors cannot be expected to
carry all of the old Rulebooks to the events. Put the onus on
the competitor. They can get the information from the IKF
Office if they do not have the older Rulebooks. Motley feels
it needs to be corrected. Discuss number of referrals. Motley
to submit verbiage to the Board for approval.
C51 Engine Information
Discussion by the Board of pictures sent by Motley. Feels
they need to do something about the C51 engines. Motley
states they need to develop a procedure so the engines are
not run anyplace. Problems are they are blowing up from
running them inside the grid on a stand and the rear wheel
is right at the height of the kids head. Diederich states most
of the kids do not have their helmets on. Hilger tells Motley
to write a rule and forward to the Board for approval. Hilger
states to post to the IKF website when approved. Verlengiere asks for this to be posted before the next Region 7 Sprint
event so they cannot be run on the grid. Hilger states Verlengiere can make that determination on site. Motley to send
draft to those familiar with the issue and then send on to the
Board. Araki asks if the intent is to make the rule effective to
all the classes or just one class. Motley states this class specifically. Araki asks to consider this a rule for all classes. Motley
is not opposed to that. Hoegerl discusses them restarting
their engines; Motley agrees.
Meeting Time Limits
Scribner suggests a time limit for members to address the
Board at the Board Meetings. Discussion by Board i.e. 5 or 10
or 15 minute limit. Hilger states it should be on the agenda
that they have 5 minutes to state their case. Board agrees.
Diederich suggests the time allotment be noted on the sign in
list. Verlengiere states it is up to the President to manage the
time limit. Araki states he has issue with this because, in the
past, IKF has been encouraging their members to come to the
Meetings and voice their opinions. He disagrees with a printed time limit. Feels this should be controlled by the President Tire Contract Going Forward
or whoever is controlling the Meeting. States the goal is to

TaG Motor Weight Adjustment
diederich states the weights for the roK and sonic are
pretty correct. The Motori is getting real close. at most
tracks, you better not show up with a rotax, leopard or prd
unless you just want to park it and watch. he is not encouraging to raise the weights because he thinks the weights on
the upper end are already at their limits. he recommends
reducing the weight on the rotax, leopard and the prd. he
will present numbers where he thinks they should be at the
september board Meeting. or the Tag committee to do that
based on their experience and knowledge. feels there needs
to be some adjustments made for the motor packages. Motley states they will need supporting data on these. need to
factor in the driver. suggests diederich to look at the sKusa
weights. diederich to give to the Tag committee chairman
for handling.
Grand National Waiver Process
diederich has issue with the waiver fee payment. feels it
should go to the region. feels fee should be graduated based
on number of punches. hilger states a decision was made for
the fee to stay in the iKf; hard to determine which region
would get the fee. scribner agrees with the graduated waiver fee. verlengiere asks araki what he thinks of the waiver
process. arake replies it is way too lax, people are using it
to their advantage, people knowingly going into a season
and not racing with the iKf and then use the waiver process
to go to a grand national for a minimal fee. Motley states
they are not going to iKf races during that period. diederich
states that is what irritated him the most. he is aware of an
instance, which he verified, where a racer was travelling 8
hours to a non iKf series and then paid a $200 waiver to get
into the iKf grand nationals – that is wrong. states he was
inside the 200 miles radius for iKf races. hilger agrees. araki
states that if the racer has no punches they would not be
eligible for a waiver at all. if they are missing some punches,
could pay a fee for waiver. This discussion is about those
within the 200 mile radius. ataki states racers who do not
qualify for a waiver according to the iKf rulebook have been
granted a waiver. hilger agrees. verlengiere states he granted
waivers and there was a down side to those approvals.
Bryan Eady Issue
diederich states there have been two region 11 races since
the 2 cycle sprint grand national.
diederich was asked why Mr. eady was allowed at the
regional races.
lengthy discussion by board regarding Mr. eady’s on and
off track actions at the 2 cycle sprint grand national. board
discussed the letter received from the race director regarding the incidents at the event and his recommendation of
suspension.
Motion by verlengiere to suspend brian eady effective

on the recommendation of the race director.

Doug Eberhard’s benediction was “heard upstairs” - the clouds
and a nice breeze made for perfect racing weather on Sunday.

SImA Facility Grand Opening
By: Northwest Karting News
I
talian Motors usa
recently hosted the
official grand opening of it’s brand new siMa
facility. The “sumas international Motorsport academy “ has been a long held
vision of karting business
owner and successful
entrepreneur claudio valiante. The facility, a multi purpose
motorsport complex includes an incredible 17 corner, 3955’
foot long track that can actually host multiple race events
simultaneously. This became evident mid morning after the
traditional ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by the
Mayor of the city of sumas. The track was then opened to the
public, and for the remainder of the day rental karts were
made available to the general public on the west course,
while competitive race karts ran on the east course. This all
took place under the careful supervision of professional race
car driver Michael valiante and company.
lunch was served to all just outside the entrance to the
main building which houses a beautiful trackside restaurant,
along with a fully stocked parts and service department. as
if this wouldn’t be all you could hope for in your local kart
racing facility, italian Motors usa has also constructed individual storage garages for those racers looking to avoid the
hassles of towing kart and equipment to and from the track.
The day was a lot of fun and it was obvious that the large
contingent of attendees thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Kudos to the valiante family, and italian Motors usa for
giving us a spectacular facility, and a fun filled day in which
to enjoy it.
The track will host it’s first official race in seven weeks as
the nw gold cup/rotax challenge series will make it’s way
16
to sumas on september 17-19th for round nine of the 2010
season. you certainly won’t want to miss it, and of course
northwest Karting news will be on hand to cover all the
weekend’s racing action.

This would turn out to be the premier class of the weekend
with more then 20 entries, two western Canadian champions,
one U.S. National champion as well as several regional title
holders made for a field deep with talent. Chris Glover would
take pole with a fast lap of 51.90. With Glover holding a commanding lead on the field throughout the weekend, there was
only Andrew Zimmer and Michael Hogg who had any real
shot at catching him. The weekend was not without controversy as Sunday would find Derek Wang and local favorite

with Cusack rounding out the top five.
TaG Masters:
Starting off the weekend in TaG Masters was Jayson Clunie putting his no. 3 kart on pole with a fast lap of 54.09. It
seemed there was no beating Clunie as he dominated all
heat races, while Jim Hargrove drove hard trying to make
his way to the front throughout the weekend only to have
a mechanical malfunction on his kart in the main. Helmut
Buhl stayed consistently in second place throughout, it was
Gabriel Kajdy who was able to make his way through the
pack and get up to third in the main. In the end it was Clunie who took home first place, followed by Buhl in second,
Kajdy in third, Cornwell in fourth, and Johnson rounding
out the top five.
Shifters:
Remo Ruscitti would set the pace putting his kart on pole
with a fast lap of 51.21. It was a long battle all three heats with
these racers competing within
only inches of each other. By
the main event it was on, and
the pack was three karts wide

start. Jurca came out in front
with Ruscitti right behind in
second. The race now was

Hargrove, and new comer to
the class Brandon Scheiber
were in a battle of their own
for the fourth spot. If there
was any questions wether or not Scheiber would be able to
run in this class he laid them to rest with a solid effort, and
a fourth place finish for the weekend; In the end it was Ruscitti who would take home the win, followed by Valiante in
second, Jurca third, Scheiber fourth, and Hargrove rounding
out the top five.

Iame Cup
The Puget Sound Go Kart Association once again played
host to the Northwest Gold Cup series, just as it has done for
so many years past. The club, located just outside of downtown Spanaway has a history in competitive kart racing that
few, if any organizations can lay claim to. For more than 50
years this small piece of Washington real estate has been witness to countless races and racers who have made the journey
here looking for their own small piece of racing history.
Some half a century after it’s opening, there are many who
question it’s relevance in today’s sport. Larger, wider, faster
tracks have been built on all sides of it. Passing they say is
virtually impossible, there is too little runoff, no parking...

on and on. But this past weekend, “the little track that could”
once again displayed some of the season’s best racing.
The weather was a tuners nightmare, hot and sunny Friday. Cold and rainy Saturday, Sunday seemed to be neither.
The track is indeed tight, passing extremely difficult. But
for those racers who are willing, and patient, opportunities
do present themselves.
The Racing:
Rotax Jr:
The Rotax Jr class is currenttly being dominated by the
number 98 kart of Mathew Moniz. This weekend would be
KARTER NEWS - september 2010
more of the same as he started off day one by putting his
Mach 1 on pole with a fast lap of 30.98. Moniz held a commanding lead throughout the weekend and by the time the
main rolled around the battle would clearly be for the second
spot. Moniz would take the lead from the start and hold it
decisevely throughout.McKean was thrown off the track coming out of turn one on the start and subsequently wound up
back in fifth, he would ultimately fight his way back to the
third spot, getting around Austin Hudson and Luke Selliken

Moniz (mach 1) taking the checkered, followed by Byers (italkart/Rpg) in second, McKean(tonykart/bbr) third, Selliken
(Birel/Rpg) in fourth, and Hudson (Tonykart) rounding out
the top five.
Rotax Sr:
Qualifying for Rotax Senior would find Canadian champion Brice Choquer and american racer Drew Revord on the
front row for the start of heat one. Choquer’s 30.96 would
give him the pole, and lead coming out of turn one followed
by Revord, and Zimmer. As the front three settled into their
positons the battle quickly shifted to the fourth spot. Darren Ward, Kory Estell, Brandon Cusack, and Chase Earle;
all within inches of each other. Cusack on the loosing end
of the deal would wind up in the seventh spot. After taking
the checkered, Choquer along with Drew Revord would find
themselves starting Heat two from the back due to a DQ in
Rotax Junior action

Saturday’s Heat race. This would now give Andrew Zimmer a
chance to run the table as the rest of the field would be forced
to battle for position. Choquer and Revord would work hard
to make their way through the pack, but Cusack would have
the greater success with passing on this tight track, moving all
the way up to the second spot behind Zimmer as the checkered flew. Zimmer held a commanding lead throughout the
main event as the battle once again was for second, this time
it would be between Cusack who had it, and a hard charging Choquer who wanted it.
As Cusack worked to hold
the spot it was Choquer
who would make a diving
move to the inside of Cusack
as they came onto the front
straight with just three laps
to go. At the checkered it
was Zimmer (Top kart) for
the win, followed by Choquer (Tony/BBR) in second,
Cusack (CRG/RPG)in third,
Revord(CRG) in fourth, and
Ward (Tony kart) rounding

When asked afterwords
about the pass by Choquer,
Cusack replied: “Brice is a
great driver, it was an awesome pass, there was nothing
I could do,I wasn’t going take
us both out.”
Jr I/ Jr II 4 Cycle:
Saturday made for wet and rainy conditions as the two
groups raced. Myles Pederson set the pace for Jr I with a fast
lap of 46.01. Pederson got the lead on the start in Heat one, but
would soon be passed by a fast Michael Gutenberger(Arrow)
on the inside of turn four lap three for the lead. The rain continued to fall throughout the main event, but this time it was
a very fast Taylor Overhoff who would make his way to
the front to hang on for the win. Gutenberger came in right
behind in second, followed
by Pederson in third.
It was the no. 52 of Brittney Zamora who would take
pole to lead the Jr II class
with a fast lap time of 47.59.
Sting Ray Robb(Wildkart)
would get a great start taking
the lead away from Zamora Junior I 4-Cycle
in heat one, as the battle between Robb and Zamora would
begin. Zamora would pass Sting Ray on the inside of turn
four lap six and hold onto the win for Heat one. The rain
continued to fall as Zamora got the lead on the start of the
main event, followed closely by Sting Ray. There were multiple wrecks and spin outs throughout the main event, however it was the very consistent Kyle Adams who would work
very hard to avoid the slick spots on the track and charge to
the front to take home the win. Zamora came in second, with
Sting Ray in third, and Smith in fourth.

Filgiano followed in second,
with Terry Lawrence in third,
Calhoun in fourth, and Moon
rounding out the top five.
Micro Max:
Mason Morgan would take
pole in Micro Max with a fast

day of wet and very slick
racing conditions for these
young drivers. With multiple
spin outs, some leaving the
drivers out for good, it was a

row stacked up behind a collision in the front between two
karts. Once underway Terry Lawrence was able to get his kart

Mini Max:
There would be some great racing in this class come Sundays main event. Kyle Wick put it on pole Saturday with a
fast lap of 32.55. Wick came out in front on the start of Heat
one as the rain really started to come down. There were many
drivers who would spin in all corners of the track leaving
them all having to work their way back through the field.
While a fast Wick led the entire main event, a hard charging

Ray also looking to get in the mix, made a heads-up move to
the inside of turn four lap eight to take the third place spot
away from Eakins. Although It looked as though Preston had
the speed necessary to catch wick and challenge for the lead,
he ultimetely would run out of time having to settle for the
second spot. As the checkered flew it would be Wick (CRE/

and Franchini rounding out

IAME Cup Jr II:
IAME Cup Jr II would
once again be sure to draw
a crowd as the people came
to see if anyone had a chance
against Artie Carpenter(Top
Kart) who has dominated
this class all season long.
Carpenter pulled out in front
in Heat one, however Parker
McKean(Tony Kart/ BBR)
would quickly make a pass
to the inside of turn four lap
two to take the lead. Paige
Wallin(Intrepid) running
strong would be next to pass
Carpenter, this time on the
outside of turn four lap four.
A disappointed McKean went
off the track in turn three to
lose the lead and put him out of the race .
The main event for these hard charging racers was a close
one, starting with Wallin and Kailia Walter(Italkart) getting
tangled together coming out of turn one on the start. As the
rest of the field moved away, these two were left struggling
to make their way back up to the pack. Meanwhile it was
Carpenter leading the field, McKean seemed to be the only
one who had the speed and position to challenge him for the
lead. Ultimetely it would be Carpenter holding on for the
win, with McKean in second, as a very fast Wallin was able
to make her way back up to third.
TAG Gazelle:
Job Kandris would set the pace for the weekend in TAG
Gazelle at his home track with a fast lap of 36.02. The rain was
keeping conditions slick for the drivers as they spun multiple
times throughout Heat one. The crowd watched as Kandris
and Sara Brinkac would go back and forth throughout the
weekend for the lead. Sunday was a different story weather
wise and conditions would finally allow for some consistent
racing. Again it was Kandris and Brinkac who would go back
and forth between heats two and three fighting for the lead.
In the end it was Brinkac who took home the win, followed
by Kandris in second, and Reece Carman in third.
IAME Cup Sr:
What a show for the spectators this weekend as they
would all come out to see if anyone could challenge Remo
Ruscitti(Italkart) for the win. Ruscitti set the pace putting his
Italkart on pole with a fast lap of 31.42. It would be Johnny
Blair(Italkart) however who would take the lead on Heat one
followed closely by Ruscitti, while Scott Hargrove and Adam
Isman went back and forth battling for sole possession of the
third spot. There were two battles going on throughout the
weekend between Blair and Ruscitti for first place, as well
as Hargrove and Isman for third place. In the main event,
it was clear that no one had a shot at catching Ruscitti; and
so Hargrove and Blair were left to fight it out for second.
All drivers held their positions throughout the main event

with Hargrove staying out in front
of Blair for the twenty lap event.
As the class of drivers came around
turn four on the last lap, Blair made
one final attempt to get under Hargrove on the inside, and although
there was contact, he was not able to
make it stick, keeping him in third.
Ruscitti took first, followed by Hargrove in second, Blair in third, Isman
in fourth, and Soden rounding out
the top five.
Rotax Master/ TAG Master:
Rotax/ TAG Masters as it seemed
would have to wait until the main
event until things started to get
interesting. Jim Hargrove(Italkart)
started off the weekend with a fast
lap of 32.60 putting him on pole for
Heat one. Only Hargrove came out
to race Heat one, as he then pulled
off the track mid-way through the
session. It was Doug Huggler who
would lead the main event and take
the win home on Sunday. Although
Hargrove would run the fast lap of
the main event, a spin in turn three
would set him back to third, with
Kajdy in second.

Fast Shifter action
One-on-One with Matthew Moniz
1. Name: Matthew Moniz
2. Age: 12
3. Hometown: S.Surrey B.C
4. Years in Karting: 5
5. How are you involved in IKF Driver
6. What clubs do you compete with? Westwood, West Coast
Kart club
7. What division of karting and which region do you compete in?
Sprint, IKF Region 6 Rotax Junior
8. Do you have any sponsors or persons you want to thank for
their support? M4 Racing, Lordco Auto Parts, Slave Lake
Helicopters, Darko Orcic
9. How did you get your start in karting? My late grandfather
bought me a battery powered go kart for Xmas when I
was 4 years old. I used it so much I kept killing the batteries in it. At age 5, my dad then bought me a used gas powered kart with a formula one body, and powered by a 3 hp
Briggs engine. It had hand controlled brakes and throttle
systems. My Dad removed the governer the second time
out as I wanted to go faster ! After that, an acquaintance
of my Dad’s offered us an old Track Magic cadet kart,
complete with a Comer K80 which I drove every weekend
at local parking lots, and a local concession kart track.
Older drivers at that track thought it was cool how small
I was driving a race kart and helped me learn the lines
by letting me follow them on the track. Thinking back, this
really helped me a lot at the beginning and made racing with
others at my first race much easier. I caught older kids in my
class off guard when I started winning a few races with my
“X” number plate, which was kind of cool for me. I also set
the short track lap record at Greg Moore Raceway with the X
plate on, which still stands today.
10. What is your most memorable karting moment? There have
been several, but the most recent as a rookie in Rotax Junior
is beating the Canadian Rotax Junior Champion earlier this
year, challenging for the Canadian Championship after competing in 4 of the 6 race series, then denied the opportunity
to complete the last two races (because I am 12 years old).
11. Do you have any family members that also race? No, but my
dad used to race old McCullochs when he was younger.
12.Besides karting, what other activities are you involved in? Hanging out with friends, Soccer, Football, road hockey, and every
type of computer racing game there is.
13. How long have you been an IKF member? Since 2008, our first
year competing in an IKF series.
14. Do you set goals for yourself in karting? If so, what are they?
Yes, I try to get better every time out, learn new tracks and
compete as best I can. I was lucky enough to win the Region
6 Rotax Minimax Championship last year, and am shooting
to win the Rotax Junior Championship as a rookie this year. .I
would also like the opportunity to race the Gatorz and Florida
Winter Tour some day.
15. If we came to your house for the weekend, what would we do?
Maybe convince my Dad to take you for a ride in his supercharged Hemi powered 1940 Willys Coupe. The rest of the
weekend probably be spent changing your underwear!
16. If you could choose someone to be on the cover of Karter News,
who would you choose and why? I would like to have that opportunity some day. I think I am the average kid with a relatively
low budget who loves to race karts. No new equipment, no
big team, just me and my family against the world who can
compete. I think a lot of people would like that.
17. Who is your biggest competition? I’d like to compete at a
National event to answer that question, as I’m fairly new in
the Junior Rotax class. Every racer is legitimate competition
on any race day. It boils down to detailed preparation, consistency, and some good luck. I am lucky to compete against
some great drivers in my region. Kyle Byers, Artie Carpenter,
Parker McKean, Marcus Brodie, are all great drivers.
18. Tell us about someone who inspires you, or is a mentor to you.
My Dad. He always seems to know how to tune my kart the
way I like it, and tells me to never give up even if things don’t
always go that great.
19. What do you like most about karting ? Battling for a win.

20.What do you think needs the most improvement?
I think there are too many karting series happening in our area, which is watering down the
amount of drivers attending the races. It would
be great if the organizers could get together
and have one Northwest Series, visiting all of
the great tracks we have. A National event in
this region would also be great to have.
21. If you won a million dollars today, and had to
spend it in 24 hours what would you spend it on?
I have always raced using older equipment,
Ebay engines, second hand karts, used tires
etc., so would like to buy some new karting
gear. I guess I would donate a lot of it to kids
less fortunate who may want to try karting.
There is a handicapped driver in my area who
races shifters, I love to see that.
22. If you got to have 5 minutes to talk to the IKF
Board of Directors on any subject, what would you
talk to them about? I would thank them for the
opportunity to race in the U.S. Region 6 series,
and tell them what a great series the Region
6 Rotax / Gold cup is. Bill Hettick and his
whole team including the announcer Terry
Bridges do a great job of running all the races
in a professional manner. I would also ask that
more news coverage take place to promote the
sport better.
23. What is your favorite thing about karting? The
friends and nice people me and my family
have met. Setting a fast lap time is also fun,
especially if it is faster than times in the senior
and shifter classes!
24. Is there anything else you would like to tell
us? Karting is a great sport which has helped
me learn a lot of new things. Concentration,
sportsmanship, competition, set ups, are just
a few of the many things I have learned. My
Mom, Dad, Sister , and Grandpa come to support me at almost every race, and I know that
karting takes a lot of their time money, so I feel
pretty lucky.
