Each ‘available’ shelf has a book in which you can read the title of by hovering your cursor over it. The
title of the book reveals the species the represents that shelf.
Twelve yellow books scattered on the ground are titled after twelve different species.

Joey’s Paper Clean Up:
By talking to Herdy, you learn that Joey is in a bit of a jam trying to clean up after the malfunctioning
printer. Your first instinct is to help clean up the paper.
By clicking and dragging the paper to one of the three piles (one pile under the printer, and a pile on
either end of the BoA; piles are colored slightly darker than the loose papers) the paper would disappear
into the pile. Once all of the loose paper have disappeared into the piles, all is right, right?
Wrong! Joey is still in a fury because of that printer! By talking to Herdy again, you learn that the printer
needs to be fixed. In order to fix it you need Rosie’s Spare Parts
.
By clicking on the spare part from your inventory and then clicking on the printer, the printer fixes and
you are awarded Steve’s Clue.

Nynex on a Ladder:
You can try to shake Nynex off of the ladder by clicking on her. But try as you might, her grip never
waivers. However, on your third try, she will attempt to shoo you away with Sci’s Clue.
Stack of Books:
Looking for another way to get Joey fired up? By clicking on the book stack to the left of Joey three
times, you will succeed in knocking it over and releasing Willie’s Clue.

Smallest Book:
After you help Joey with all of his troubles, Herdy will give you some valuable information: “Even the
smallest book can contain the greatest knowledge.” The smallest book in the Book of Ages is located on
the bottom of the 1st shelf to the right side of Herdy’s desk. Clicking on it will grant you Jen’s Clue.

Mokotai’s Lights & Shelves:
It seems the problem with the BoA’s Printer has affected the Item Database as well! The power is out,
and the only way to turn it back on is to manually turn on all of the lights. But in order for the all of the
lights to be on, the all of shelves must be evenly spaced between them.
Using the battery-operated panel that Mokotai has provided, you can maneuver the shelves and lights in
order to place them back in their correct positions.
Each Button turns on/off two different lights. Each Lever moves two different shelves one position to
the left/right (with the exception of the Purple Lever; which resets the entire puzzle).
If a shelf is under a light, then the light can not descend and turn on. Likewise, if a light is descended, a
shelf cannot move past the light. Even if a shelf cannot move, when its lever is pulled the crank on the
shelf will inform you which direction it should be going. While this may seem like a burden, it can be
helpful when planning your strategy!
A good way to start is to click on all of the levers and buttons and right down which affects what.

Red Lever: Shelf C Left; Shelf D Left
Orange Lever: Shelf D Right; Shelf E Left
Yellow Lever: Shelf B Right; Shelf C Right

Blue Button: Light 2; Light 3
Orange Button: Light 1; Light 2

By using the lights to block the shelves from moving, I can use certain levers to my advantage.
Here is one of many solutions that can solve this puzzle:
Orange Lever, Purple Button, Yellow Button, Orange Lever, Orange Lever, Yellow Lever, Yellow Lever,
Yellow Lever, Red Button, Green Lever, Orange Button, Blue Button
Once all of the lights are turned on, you will be awarded with Luke’s Clue and full access to the IDB!

Box of Items 1 & 2:
A hearty part of an Item Database worker’s duty is sorting and maintaining the data on hundreds of
items daily. How could a few clues not get lost in one of the many bins that hold these items? By clicking
on an open space between two aisles, you are able to browse through its shelves and select one of the
nine bins each one carries. You cannot go down an aisle if the light isn’t turned on, however.
Digging through 90+ bins for one little clue seems like a lot. But if you look carefully, two of the shelf
labels will flash “Clue” indicating that a Clue is located in one of the aisles on either side of it. This brings
your bin-diving total from 90 to a mere 36 bins.
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
Terry’s Clue can be found in the top center bin down the 4th aisle from the left.
Aeternus’ Clue can be found in the bottom right bin down the 4th aisle from the right.

Search Hub:
After playing around with the Search Hub, you might have noticed something off with the choices…
Hovering over the title, Fish Negg Plushie throws a question at you “What are you searching for?”
Well, what are you searching for?

By selecting the out-of-place words hidden within each drop down menu “I’m Searching For A Clue” and
clicking Search, you answer the Plushie’s question, and it rewards you with Herdy’s Clue!

Gaining Access to the Restricted Room:
In order to gain access to Sci and Labhaoise’s puzzles, you must sneak into the Restricted Room. You
may notice a pair of lights above the door. Red indicates that the door is locked. Green indicates that the
door is open and allows you to scurry through to the other side.
Your opportunity only arrives when Tom rushes out to collect the arriving newly announced items. Once
the light is green, click on the door to gain access to the Restricted Room.

Labhaoise’s Item Hunt
Lee is in a bind. She has ten groups of 4 four items that are missing data. The items in each group have
at least one thing in common by either a word in their name or their category (but you didn’t know
that). She says she has identified one of the items in each group (surrounded in red) and she needs your
help identifying one more item out of each group.
Click on the items to start. The description in white tells you which of the three remaining items Lee is
looking for you to identify.
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
While some of the groups are easy to identify the thing they have in common at a glance, others you
would only find out by reading their data in Jellyneo’s Item Database.

Trapped Sci
Sci has gotten himself trapped in a maze of box carts! The only way to get him out is to maneuver the
carts around Sci to clear his path to freedom.
The vertical box carts only move up or down on your screen, while the horizontal box carts move left or
right.
If you haven’t played one of these puzzles, this is the classic Parking Lot Puzzle. The first rule of thumb is
to establish where certain box carts must be in order for Sci to get out. In this case, the horizontal 3-box
cart must be all the way to the left in order Sci to move past it. Your strategy should play around that
established rule by looking to see what the other carts’ positions should be to maintain that rule.
The key move in this puzzle is switching the positions of the horizontal 2-box cart in the 4th and 6th row.

After freeing Sci from the maze, you are awarded Scissor’s Clue.

Fixing the Broken Light and Finding the Whack-a-Staff Hammer
You may have noticed one of the aisles in the IDB is inaccessible due to a broken light and a bunch of
stacked up boxes in your way. The access the light, you first need to move the boxes by clicking on them
in the right order. You know when you’ve clicked the right one when it repositions itself in the storage
area to the right.
You should have found the spare Light bulb in the Staff Lounge. Clicking on the Light bulb in your
inventory will allow you to grab it with your cursor.
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
Clicking on the broken light with the Light bulb in hand will fix the light. You now have access to the
aisle.
With a different perspective of the aisle, you see a weird object in the background that’s being block by
the left shelf. You need to move the shelf some how.
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
Mokotai gives you the reason as to why the shelves are immobile now that the power is back on. She
also let it slip that an override is the only way to move them again.
Clicking on the dark grey panel on the front of the shelf reveals the hidden override button. Each shelf
has one and is only accessible by an IDB worker, but luckily for you, this panel was left unlocked.
Clicking on the buttons will activate the override. The shelf can now by moved by clicking on its crank… if
nothing is in its way. Think back to the Lights & Shelves puzzle, and you’ll realize that the light to the left
of the ‘Merch’ shelf needs to be up in order for the shelf to move.
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
The object that was blocked is now accessible.
Clicking on it you will find that it is the elusive Dave’s Secret Stash. A note taped to the front gives a hint
as to what the code for the safe could be: “If the JN Admins were Neggs…Which ones would they be?”
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
Several hints about the code were located in the Staff Lounge. By looking in Terry’s Locker, you could
have noticed a Fish Negg Plushie stowed away behind his Bubble Negg. And if Dave’s wasn’t painfully
obvious, another hint elsewhere gave all three answers:
While playing Illy’s card game, you may have noticed she had a special deck of cards: The Jellyneo
Staffer’s 12 Day’s of X-Mas! Even if you weren’t present for the release of the special holiday greeting,
the King, Queen, and Jack’s clothing should have been enough to send you searching for the right news
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
post. Each card was represented with the corresponding number in the song. In the case of the 3 card,
the song recites: “Three Crazy Admins”. The card is shown with three neggs instead.
Entering in the code and clicking on the handle grants you access to Dave’s Secret Stash, where you will
find the Whack-a-Staff Hammer.

Finding the Spare Part
By talking with Emily, you find out that Rosie was sent to bring back Spare Parts to fix the printer, but
she disappeared. Emily says that she just saw Rosie a few seconds before, so she must have not gone
far.
During your bin-diving ventures, you might have found something that might have not belonged there…
no, it wasn’t a clue…..
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
Clicking on the center left bin in the aisle to the right of Emily, you discover a Dung-Dehydrated Rosie
hiding in the bin. By clicking on her, she hands over the Spare Part she was sent to retrieve. Clicking on it
adds it to your inventory.

Vending Machine:
After attempting to grab some refreshments from our Vending Machine, you might have noticed that
the labels were in a cryptic code. The only way to vend the item that you want was to enter in the
translated word.
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
By speaking to Rylon, you learn that the Vending Machine isn’t the only place we use the cryptic code. A
notice on the Staff Bulletin Board is posted with the same code.
The image of Dave in a referee outfit holding a Yooyu should remind you of a certain event (or at least
point you in the right direction): The Altador Cup 3 JN Staff Tournament. By visiting the old contest
page, you will find the announcement for the winners: Dandy, 1337, and Rosie. By using this, you can
get a jump start on decrypting that code!

In your quest to decrypt the entire code, you find that the bags that are stuck in the Vending Machine
are blocking your view from possibly helpful cryptic codes. In order to knock them down, you must vend
one of the bags above them. By knocking down the 4th bag from the left with the translated code
“LANTA”, a bag with a clue stuck to its front is revealed.

Vending that bag with the translated code “COVET” earns you Aila’s Clue.

Illy’s Locker
Feeling a little nosy, you might have browsed through some of our lockers that were left open. If you
searched thoroughly through Illy’s locker, you might have found the book “Know Your NEGGS”.
Clicking on the book opens it to reveal Weepit’s Clue!
What’s that in the corner there?

Illy’s Card Game
Illy is dealing you and herself a card from a deck that has card numbered and valued from 1 to 13. Aces
are 1, Jacks are 11, Queens are 12, and Kings are 13. This is more of a game of chance than strategy,
although strategy comes into play under certain circumstances.
As the cards are dealt, if Illy’s card is valued 6 or below, there is a higher probability that your card will
be Higher. Likewise, if Illy’s card is valued 8 or above, there is a higher probability that your card will be
Lower.
Once you score 15 points you are awarded with Illy’s Clue.

Whack-a-Staff Ball Pit
Hidden beneath one of the Jelly Plants in the Lounge is the entrance to the Lounge’s Ball Pit.
You can click as hard as you want, but if you do not have the Whack-a-Staff Hammer in your inventory
you won’t be able to knock the Staffers out. If you do have the Hammer, it will appear in your hand
automatically when you enter the Ball Pit.
Each Staffer needs to be hit three times to knock them out. When they are knocked out, a pair of
spinning novas appears over where they were last hit. You know when you’ve hit a staffer when a red
flash appears in their place.
Top Menu || Book of Ages || Item Database || Staff Lounge || Easter Eggs
Once all seven staffers are knocked out, a hand appears in the center of the Ball Pit holding Tom’s Clue.
