2012 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2012 Club Championship will be held September 28 – 30. The format will be a 54-Hole stroke
play event for the Championship Flights (Men’s and Ladies’) and a 36-Hole event for the remaining
flights. The field will be divided into 8 -10 flights by players’ September 15 handicap indexes. The top
two gross and low net scores will be recognized in each flight. The last two flights in the men’s
division and all non-championship flights in the ladies’ division will be playing a points competition.
NOTE: There will only be one Men’s and Ladies Championship Flight. This flight will play 54 holes
and will play from the Red tees (men) and Gold/Blue Combination tees (ladies). The 2012 Club
Champions will be determined from these flights. In addition, the top three 54 scores in the men’s
championship flights, plus the 2011 Club Champion Brandon Nelson, will be chosen to represent
Rivermont Golf and Country Club in the 2012 Georgia Team Championship
All Players wishing to compete for the Men’s and Ladies’ Club Championship (all flights) must
register with the Golf Shop. If you wish to play in the 54-hole championship flights
(Men’s and Ladies), please declare your intent upon registration.

RMGA NFL TOURNAMENT
October 12 - 14
SIGN UP WILL OPEN AUGUST 31 AT NOON.
REGISTRATION MAY BE IN PERSON OR BY PHONE
This is the RMGA’s last major tournament of the year. In this event, “Owners” draft their
four person teams consisting of ABCD players in an NFL draft format on Friday night.
Saturday’s competition will be the two best net scores.
Sunday’s format will be total team player’s points
The schedule of events will be as follows:
Friday, October 12 - Draft Party
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 5:00 p.m.
Draft and wagering at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 13 - 1st Round
Shotgun beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Format - Two best net scores
Sunday, October 14 - 2nd Round
Shotgun beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Format - Total team player’s points
Cocktails and awards - 3:00 p.m.
Entry Fee - $75 per player (Owners pay $100 extra for the cash pool)
This event is limited to 32 owners and 96 players. 2011 owners will be given the first
opportunity to sign up as 2012 owners. Their spot will be held until October 1st at which time
it will become available to alternate owners.
