DriveRack ™ 260
DriveRack ™ 260
Visionary Design
Features
Designed to provide system flexibility and reliability,
the DriveRack™ 260 capitalizes on the road tested
and contractor approved nature of the DriveRack™
family of products. And like its predecessors, the
DriveRack™ 260 delivers the highest quality audio,
while providing all processing necessary between the
mixer and the power amps. From the Input Mixer and
EQ, to the Feedback Suppression and Delay, to the
Output Dynamics and Routing, everything is there to
meet your application’s needs.
• 2x6 Configurable Audio DSP
With the DriveRack™ 260, not only do you get the
processing tools, but also the control to effectively use
those tools. The Front Panel and PC GUI interface
allow intuitive editing of the processing functions and
easy manipulation of the system configuration, while
security passwords ensure that locked parameters
remain untouched. The optional Zone Controllers
provide programmable wall panel and contact closure
control creating simple yet elegant solutions for even
the most complex of application requirements.
• Classic dbx® Compression and
Finally, the DriveRack 260 offers the knowledge and
experience of system designers and engineers to use
the tools and control. The setup Wizard allows quick
system setup; it preloads speaker tuning values, optimizes gain structure based on speaker and amplifier
selection, and sets the output limiters based on
Amplifier settings. Equalization is quickly and easily
accomplished with the Auto-EQ function, which maximizes system frequency response based on factory or
user-defined response curves. Our Advanced
Feedback Suppression (AFS™) maintains sonic
integrity while maximizing gain before feedback.
• Advanced Feedback Suppression™
(AFS™)
• 2.7 Seconds of Configurable Delay
• RS-232 PC GUI control
• Graphic and Parametric EQ
Limiting
• Wall Panel Logic Control
• Full Bandpass and Crossover Filtering
• Open Architecture Routing
Configurations
All parameters, functions, and utilities can be
accessed from both the Front Panel and the PC
GUI. Password Security can be used to lock
access to the parameters or functions. Programs
can be stored to the unit and to the computer for
instant recall, editing, or even off-line editing.
• Auto Gain Control
• Full-time RTA
The DriveRack™ 260 Crossover section
provides Bandpass and Crossover filters
with slopes up to 48 dB per Octave, and
Bessel, Butterworth, and Linkwitz-Riley
filter topologies.
The 260 provides both Input and Output
EQ. Input EQ is switchable between a
9-Band Parametric or 28-Band Graphic,
the Output EQ is a 4-Band Parametric EQ.
• Independent Output Processing
• Setup Wizard with JBL® and Crown®
Components
• Auto-EQ Function
• Security Lockout
From the patent-pending Advanced Feedback
Suppression (AFS™), to the purpose built Zone
Controllers, the DriveRack™ 260 and its accessories
were created to fit your application.
• Flash Memory – No Battery Required
For Dynamics control, the 260 offers a classic
dbx® Compressor, Gate or AGC in the Input
Insert Section, while a Limiter or AGC is
provided on each output for system protection.
There are two Insert Positions in the Input
section that allow the following DSP modules:
AGC, Advanced Feedback Suppression™,
SubHarmonic Synthesis, Gate, Compressor,
Notch Filter or Wire if no additional processing
is desired.
The DriveRack™ 260 offers up to 2.7
Seconds of Delay. The Delay is configurable with both the input and output
sections offering Delay modules, so you
can put the delay where you need it.
Outputs offer both output Polarity and
Phase control.
• Type IV® A/D Conversion
• >110 dB Dynamic Range
