Short title
1. This notice may be cited as the Objections to Proposed Road
Closure Notice (No 04) 2015.
Application for road closure [s.100 of the Act]
2. Applications have been made for the permanent closure of the roads
mentioned in the Schedule.
Objections
3.(1) An objection (in writing) to a proposed road closure mentioned
in the Schedule may be lodged with the Executive Director, Department

CENTRAL HIGHLANDS REGIONAL COUNCIL (MAKING OF
SUBORDINATE LOCAL LAW) NOTICE (NO. 1) 2015
Central Highlands Regional Council (the Council) made Animal
Management (Amendment) Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2015
by Council resolution dated 21 January 2015. Local Law No. 2
(Animal Management) 2012 authorises the making of Animal
Management (Amendment) Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2015.
The subordinate local law amends Subordinate Local Law No. 2
(Animal Management) 2012. The purpose and general effect of
this subordinate local law is to change the circumstances in
which the keeping of animals in the local government area of
Council is prohibited and is subject to an approval requirement
and to regulate the keeping of domestic hens and roosters in the
local government area. Pursuant to review process consistent
with the provisions of the Local Government Act 2009 , no anticompetitive provisions have been identified in the subordinate
local law. A copy of the subordinate local law can be inspected
and purchased at the Emerald office of Council and viewed on
Council’s and the Department of Local Government’s website.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT
BOULIA SHIRE PLANNING SCHEME 2006
Notice is hereby given that Boulia Shire Council at its meeting
on 15 January 2015, resolved:
(1) to adopt Amendment No.1 of the Boulia Shire Planning
Scheme to include a Priority Infrastructure Plan; and
(2) the commencement date for the above Amendment is
30 January 2015.
The purpose and general effect of Amendment No.1 is to
incorporate a Priority Infrastructure Plan (PIP) to integrate and
coordinate land use planning and infrastructure planning.

PORMPURAAW ABORIGINAL SHIRE COUNCIL ADOPTION OF THE
PLANNING SCHEME
Notice is given under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 and
Statutory Guideline 02/14: Making or amending local planning
instruments, that on 29 January 2015, Pormpuraaw Aboriginal
Shire Council adopted the Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire
Council Planning Scheme and that the Scheme is to have effect
from 2 February 2015.
