In 2008 the 3rd generation of the family, led by a deep respect and an absolute believe in the product, embark on a thrilling project: • To elaborate one of the best E.V. Olive Oils of the world. • To become a winery of reference along Rueda appellation, very well known for the Verdejo indigenous grape. The Olive Grove The Olive mill is in our Estate located at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level and right in the center of our own plantation, which has 150 hectares of olive groves spread across Arbequina, Picual and Manzanilla Cacereña. Castilla y León ESPAÑA Provincia de Valladolid Medina de Rioseco Almazara Valladolid Our olive grove undergoes extreme changes in temperature between day and night, especially during periods of vegetative activity, which enhances the aromatic quality of our fruit and provides special nuances to our extra virgin olive oil. We are extremely strict in crop management, as we tried to apply the latest farming techniques on our olive grove, respecting the environment as one of the values of our Valdecuevas group. Rueda A-6 Bodega Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil Description This Extra Virging Olive Oil comes from our Arbequina olives grown in our Estate. In order to obtain this Extra Virgin Olive Oil we only use olives havested at the beginning of harvest, which are processed at its best organoleptic state and only by mechanical procedures and cold extraction, just to get an 100% Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil of extraordinary quality. Note that, due to the particular conditions of our Estate, our Extra Virgin Olive Oil has and index of tocopherols (vitamin E) and oleic acid, above other´s Arbequina Olive oil average. Tasting notes Our Extra Virging Olive Oil outsands for its aromatic intensity in a delicious combination of green grass and almond. On the palate the flavors of grass, almond and banana peel are reaffirmed. It is complex, harmonious and well balanced. Pairing It is perfect on its own, but also in dressings over vegetables, pasta, fish and meat. Indispensable to the Mediterranean diet. Analysis Acidity 0,1 % The SIQEV seal is a mark of excellence and best practices in the complete process of producing Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The Olive mill has obtained the highest possible level under IFS certification. Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil The Battle of El Moclín took place on July 14th, 1808. The Spanish troops were commanded jointly by General García de la Cuesta and Joaquín Blake on one side and the Napoleonic troops were lead by Marshal Jean-Baptiste Bessières. Hundreds of soldiers fought in the Valdecuevas moor, where today a large olive grove grows and from which we produce our own Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Description This Extra Virgin Olive Oil is extracted once the ripening control of the olives is done and the veraison (olive´s turn in color) is finished, which is considered to be the end of harvest . We proceed to the cold extraction minutely and only by mechanical procedures. The result is a delicious Extra Virgin Olive Oil very soft and elegant. Tasting notes Sweet Extra Virgin Olive Oil, balanced, with aromas of almond, banana and a subtle touch of fresh grass. The taste is soft and velvety with aromas of banana, apple and almond. Pairing Great on its own or with bread, also in dressings over vegetable and salads. It goes also well with pastries chocolates and fruit. Indispensable to the Mediterranean diet.
