This allows us to be flexible with the fresh foods that we offer our guests but it does mean that you need to read our sample group visit menu with an eye to style and season rather than specific dishes. With two chefs and a home economist on staff (plus our Indian cooks who show their style in our regular curry banquets) we are dedicated to providing you with fresh, healthy and interesting food and can cater to any dietary need with minimum notification. It is important to note that Feathertop Chalet maintains a nut free kitchen. We feed our groups well, with breakfast (continental or American style), morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper. We also suggest that fresh fruit from the local orchards is a tasty way to build up energy levels at any time of day. Standard meal prices for groups and guests are detailed on pages 8 through 9 of this document. Perhaps you feel like eating in the shade of our beautiful trees or at the top of Mount Feathertop? With notice we are happy to put together BBQ and picnic packs or you can take your lunch away bagged up for an easy ride or walk. A sample menu showing a range of freshly prepared choices for lunch and dinner is available on our website. 6 Feathertop Chalet Services Guide 2015 Feathertop Chalet sample group stay menu** Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Breakfast Choice of continental breakfast / or continental and cooked breakfast Choice of continental breakfast / or continental and cooked breakfast Choice of continental breakfast / or continental and cooked breakfast Choice of continental breakfast / or continental and cooked breakfast Morning Tea Savory pinwheel puffs / fruit Feathertop homemade muffins / fresh fruit Fruit skewers and sandwiches Feathertop homemade anzacs / fresh fruit Lunch Soup, rolls and sandwiches Beef/chicken/vegetarian lasagna with seasonal vegetables or salad Make your own salad wraps, cheese, seasonal salad items optional tuna/ham Vegetarian pasta bake and seasonal salad Cheese and salad rolls (can be packed for travel - packed lunch includes 1 roll, juice box, cake or slice, piece of seasonal fruit) Afternoon Tea Scones, jam & cream / Fresh fruit Feathertop homemade slice / Fresh fruit Feathertop homemade Cake / fresh fruit Freshly baked muffins/ fresh fruit Scones, jam & cream / fresh fruit Dinner Chicken schnitzel with oven baked chips and salad Roast of the day with seasonal vegetables and gravy BBQ - make your own hamburgers with shredded lettuce, cheese, onion, pineapple, tomato and beetroot Traditional Indian Curry buffet - A range of Indian dishes and condiments Grilled Harrietville Trout with chips and salad or vegetables Desert Apple strudel with cream Pudding + custard + fruit Frogs in a pond or chocolate mousse with ice-cream Gulab Jamun Spiced lime dumplings with Ice cream or fruit salad Drinking water, coffee & tea are available all day in the lodges or main dining hall ** Please note this menu is offered as a style guide only, our preference is that you leave the planning to us but you are welcome to chat with our chef or your stay coordinator regarding your individual requirements. 7 Feathertop Chalet Services Guide 2015 Winter in the Mountains Located at the base of Mt Hotham, we are a perfect location to access the major ski fields.
