2014054, University of Applied Sciences Van Hall Larenstein, Velp Feedback Document Project afbeelding Voorkant Feedback Document, date: January 19th, 2015 Introduction 2014054, University of Applied Sciences Van Hall Larenstein, Velp FRAMEWORK The University of Applied Sciences of Van Hall Larenstein has chosen for Activity Based Working. In doing so they have chosen to respond to the fast changing office environment which is strongly influenced by changes in the areas of ICT (communication), durability, image and cost control. Wageningen moves to Velp. To get a good impression of all the criteria the new study and work environment should meet, we held workshop sessions with students and staff. Thus reducing the use of space. During these sessions we addressed all the relevant aspects of the study and work environments. Discussions were held on culture and identity, but also on workplaces and communication in the current and future situation. We searched for securing the widest possible support amongst employees and students for the optimalization of their work environment in the near future. In this document we present our findings and a translation of the knowledge we accumulated on the lay-out of the new study and work environment. This translation is not Coare’s vision, but a summary of what we heard from students and employees from all the locations during the evaluation. This enables us to gain insight into the manner in which we should facilitate the interior design. We understand that by merging the locations in Velp and Wageningen we must do justice to the specific wishes of all the participants. Coare has given ear to these wishes and will combine them in Velp, where they amplify one another. Outcome-based teamwork. Creating networks within mixed zones. Excelling through collaboration between programs To be the most sustainable educational institute in The Netherlands. People Planet Profit in balance. Future-proofing the organization. Maintaining durable network relations. Activity Based Working, no personal workspaces. Responsibility for available sources.
