The new ACID PRO 4.0 audio engine takes advantage of the latest processing power,
providing you with significant increases in performance during playback.
ACID's MIDI list editor and piano roll are made possible through the
utilization of Yamaha's new OPT (Open Plug-In Technology) standard.
Loop Cloning: Chop To New In Chopper™
Use the Chopper™ to create amazing drum fills, stutters, and
DJ-style effects. ACID PRO allows you easily perform "Loop
Cloning". Simply select a song or sample, bring it into the
Chopper, and save your loop as a new track. It's cloned! Create
"chopped" events, tweak separate parts of your loops - even mix
slices of multiple loops to create your own customized grooves.
All chopped events play in sync with your music.
Optimized DLS Soft Synth Model
Now you can route any track to a new soft synth bus in the mixer window. Each bus
controls its own DLS set, rather than being tied to individual tracks. The soft synth works
as a Sound Module that allows you to choose which DLS set or VSTi you want to use with

New Audio Panning Models
ACID PRO 4.0 has new pan options, including balance and constant power. Adjust the signal
