Kateri began dancing at the age of three, performing tap, jazz, and ballet. She continued her ballet
training and in-depth study of Highland, Victorian ballroom, modern, and West African dance forms. She began
belly dancing seven years ago in the San Francisco Bay Area and studied around the United States. She has
recently returned from London where she was seen as a soloist in a variety of performance venues and teaching
situations. She is now returning to her teaching and performing in the DC/Baltimore area.
