WARNING
Ages 18+
This game contains naughty words.
You should be ashamed of yourself.
4-6 Players
WHAT IS THIS GAME ALL ABOUT?
First of all, let it be known that the Warning Label on the front of the box was
put there for a reason. This game contains words like ‘fuck’, ‘shit’, ‘boobies’, and even
‘Butt Toucher’ (which can also be found on one of the game pieces). If you’re normally
offended by such language, we kindly ask you not to let a little naughtiness get in the
way of a good time.
There are three things you should remember if you want to be the first player to move your game piece around the board and win the game:
(1) Roll high, (2) Be funny, and (3) Know thine enemy. How do you do that? Keep reading. It’s quite simple.
WHAT IS IN THIS SNUG LITTLE BOX?
Gameboard, Box of Playing Cards, Custom Die, War Chest Cards,
Answer Pad, Six Pencils, and these Six Game Pieces and Stands
HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR WAR?
1. Place the board, the die and the box of playing cards in the middle
of the play area.
2. Shuffle the War Chest cards and place them face-down on the board.
3. Every player selects a game piece, inserts it in a stand and places it
on the HOME space on the board.
4. Every player takes a pencil and answer sheet.
5. The hairiest player goes first. Play moves clockwise.
HOW DO YOU PLAY THIS GAME?
ON YOUR TURN, roll the die, advance the number of spaces shown, and pick the next playing card. Depending on the space you
land on, follow the corresponding game play below. After your turn, place used playing cards at the back of the card box.
THIS MEANS WAR!
On these spaces, you and another player will each read aloud a red tweet.
The other players act as judges and decide which player’s tweet they like best.
1. You already have your card in front of you. Now choose another player to pick-up the next
playing card and be your foe in a ‘war of words’ to see whose red tweet is the funniest.
2. The foe reads aloud his/her red tweet first, followed by the roller.
• It helps to familiarize yourself with the tweet before reading it aloud. How the
tweets are read will influence the judges. Like every war, it’s all in how you pitch it.
The story of the Titanic speaks to me because I
once tripped over a bag of ice at a party and
then killed over 1,500 people.
Things aren’t going well. I just said “I love you”
to a bottle of lotion.
If complaining was an Olympic event, my wife
would complain about it.
What is completely worth complaining about?
3. The other players, acting as judges, independently write the name of the player whose
tweet they like best on their answer sheets.
4. After all judges have voted, each judge holds up their answer sheet and announces the player whose tweet they like best.
5. The player with the most votes advances two spaces on the board. If there is a tie, the roller picks up the top War Chest card, reads it
aloud and follows the instructions.
FIRING BLANKS
On these spaces, the roller reads aloud the gray tweet, but says ‘Blank’ for the section of highlighted words. Players other than the
roller will decide how best to ‘fill-in-the-blank’. The roller will pick his/her favorite answer and try to match which player wrote
which answer.
1. Read aloud the gray tweet, BUT for the section of words that is highlighted, simply say the word ‘Blank’. In the example above, the roller
would say, “Things aren’t going well. I just said “I love you” to BLANK.”
2. All players (except the roller) write an answer for how they would fill-in-the-blank. Players’ answers can be any number of words, and
there are no right or wrong answers. Just write neatly and make sure the roller cannot see your answers.
3. All answers are collected, shuffled and read aloud by the player to the right of the roller (the ‘Reader’), who should become familiar with
the answers before reading them aloud.
• It helps to read aloud the tweet again before answers are revealed.
• Players should keep their best poker face when answers are read aloud.
4. After hearing ALL of the answers, the roller must FIRST pick his/her favorite answer and THEN guess which player wrote which answer.
• Players must wait to reveal their answers until AFTER the roller guesses every answer.
5. The reader reveals the results. For every correct match, the roller advances one space. The player who wrote the roller’s favorite answer
advances two spaces. There is no opportunity to roll again and no penalty for incorrect matches.
• At the end of every turn, we encourage the roller to read aloud Rob’s full, original tweet.
LOADED QUESTIONS®
On these spaces, the roller reads aloud the blue tweet and the related question that follows. Players other than the roller will decide
how best to answer the question. The roller will pick his/her favorite answer and try to match which player wrote which answer.
1. Read aloud the blue tweet and the related question that follows.
2. All players (except the roller) write an answer for the question. Players’ answers can be any number of words, and there are no right or
wrong answers. Just write neatly and make sure the roller cannot see your answers.
3. Follow rules 3-5 from the rules listed in the gray category.
WAR CHEST SPACES
The War Chest cards are full of surprises- some fantastic, others fairly passive and some truly awful- and they all make the game a lot
more interesting. These marked War Chest spaces play exactly like the gray and blue spaces, but instead of the player who wrote the
favorite answer advancing two spaces, he/she must pick the top card from the War Chest, read it aloud and follow the instructions.
• Before the War Chest card is played, allow the roller to advance one space for every correct match.
• A tie on a red space is the only other time a War Chest card is played.
• Place used War Chest cards at the bottom of the deck.
GREEN ZONE SPACES
If you land on one of the five Green Zone spaces (after rolling the die on your turn), you can look at all three categories on your playing
card and play your favorite.
• Any game piece on a Green Zone space is safe from any negative actions from the War Chest cards.
• In case you’re not familiar with Rob Delaney’s Twitter page, the hairy pic of Rob in a green bathing suit is his horrid
Twitter image.
HOW IS THE WAR WON?
The first player to move their game piece around the board and arrive back HOME wins the game.
• At the start of your turn, you need an exact roll of the die to land on HOME and win the game. If you roll too high,
simply play the space you’re on.
• When advancing at the end of a turn, you do not need to advance an exact number of spaces to win the game.
• Because multiple players can advance on a turn, multiple players can win at the same time. At least you’re not a loser.
