New hours for
ID card issue
As of March 1, Personnel
Support
Detachments
(PSD) across the country
will standardize procedures
for ID card issuance and
customer service hours.
SERCO, a contractor, is now
handling the ID card process. That means you will
be dealing with a contractor or civil service employee
not an active duty military
member.
New ID card hours of
operation at PSD in building
113 are 7:30 a.m.to 4 p.m.,
Monday through Friday
and at the Navy Exchange
ID Lab on Seaplane Base, 9
a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday
through Saturday.
The process hasnít
changed. ID Cards appointments are mandatory and
must be made on-line at
https://es.cac.navy.mil.
Each ID card requires its
own appointment. If you
and your spouse/child need
an ID card, please make a
separate appointment for
each.
Two forms of identification will be required for
everyone, including minors.
Proper
corresponding documentation will
be required at the time of
your appointment to update
records and issue current
ID Cards.
Please note that on
Reserve Drill weekends,
appointments will only be
available from 9 -11:30 a.m.
From noon to 5:30 p.m., the
ID Lab will be open primarily for the drilling reservists who will not require
appointments.

Inspectors from the Electronic Attack Weapons School
(EAWS) and Commander, Electronic Attack Wing, U.S.
Pacific Fleet, (CVWP) judged the proficiency of both
Aviation Electronics Technicians (AT) and Aviation
Ordnancemen (AO) while performing the process of prep-
ping and loading an aircraft for typical combat load configuration.
The CWTPI is the first of two phases towards the completion of the squadron’s Safe for Flight certification. Phase two
will be a Maintenance Program Assist (MPA), conducted by
CVWP, checking the administrative and operational proficiency of VAQ-141’s maintenance programs.
“This is just a testament of the hard work the AT’s, AO’s
and Maintenance Department of VAQ-141 puts forth on
a daily basis,” said Aviation Ordnanceman Chief John
Dunbar, senior AO in the squadron.
