Event address: 5846 Gregory Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90038 (323) 872-3174 Youth Mission Trip June 23-27 We are excited to invite all PSMC youth (ages 14-21) on a MISSION TRIP to Hollywood, CA! We will take part in DOOR Hollywood’s DISCOVER program, which is designed to allow youth to explore the intersection of faith and service through a variety of projects, to learn from local leaders and churches, and to “see the face of God in the city.” After four days of service and learning, we will conclude our trip with a fun day at Magic Mountain! Early bird registration is $150/person and ends May 1 (includes housing, meals, service sites, daily programming, and admission to Magic Mountain). DOOR—Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection—is a faith-based network of cities that provides opportunities for service, learning, and leadership development within the urban context. Expect to: BE PHYSICALLY ALIVE: Enjoy hiking, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, pingpong, frisbee-golf, yoga, and group games (kickball, soccer, GROG, etc.). BE RELATIONALLY ALIVE: Make and deepen relationships with kids and youth from across California and Arizona. The friendships that start at camp often continue for a lifetime. BE EMOTIONALLY ALIVE: Experience freedom to be who you are and 24-30 to express feelings of sadness, anger, joy, and excitement as you lean into who God has created you and called you to be.
