International Student Program APPLICATION sccollege.edu From The President’s Desk Great things continue to happen at Santiago Canyon College! Although Santiago Canyon College (SCC) is one of the newer institutions of higher learning in California, tens of thousands of students already have discovered the high quality of education available at SCC. If you ask our students what they like about SCC, they’ll tell you that they get personal attention from faculty who are leaders as professors and scholars. Expert counselors provide the guidance necessary to move students ahead as quickly as possible. Caring staff members and administrators work hard to help students reach their goals. Together, the people of SCC are dedicated to the success of students. SCC provides clear pathways for university transfer and career technical education. Classes and programs are available in a wide variety of areas, including transfer, career technical and basic skills. With over 150 certificate and degree programs, plus multiple transfer agreements with four-year universities in California, SCC is the right fit for you. Since SCC achieved independent accreditation in 2000, the campus has been transformed. Students attend classes, study, practice, perform experiments, rehearse, and collaborate on a campus where even the architecture points to the future. The changes are visible in the Science Center, the Humanities Building, the Lorenzo A. Ramirez Library, and the Athletic and Aquatics Center, all of which help to meet the educational needs of our community. On behalf of the faculty, staff and administration, I invite you to find out why attending Santiago Canyon College empowers you to seek the opportunities you deserve and desire, right here, right now.
