n Sunday school ministry, you’re seeking to
train lives to serve the Lord wholeheartedly.
It’s a rewarding task; how many will accept
Christ as Savior, commit to follow Him, or
renew their love of the Lord because of your
ministry? But with all the responsibilities
of daily life, you don’t need a complicated,
time-consuming, or ineffective Sunday school
curriculum. With Joyful Life’s proven presentation, clear organization, and abundant
supplementary materials, you can confidently
teach the Word of God. Your students will be
able to understand, remember, and apply what
you’ve taught. With hearts and minds focused
on God, they can lead a truly joyful life.
I
“My teachers have commented about how
much more Joyful Life has to offer in biblical
content. Teachers that have no experience can
easily grow into teaching with your material.”

Content you can rely on
Bible truths in every lesson
Emphasis on learning
Toddler–Junior You’ll help children learn the fundamentals of the Christian faith and grow in their knowledge of God and His Word with lessons that review
basic doctrine through simple questions that are easy
for them to understand. Questions like “Who is Jesus?”
“Who wrote the Bible?” and “Is all of the Bible true?”
will help them remember the truths they learn.
Toddler–Adult Centered on the Word of God, the
Joyful Life Sunday school curriculum builds interest
through exciting Bible narratives, educating students
in the ways of the Lord and helping mold their lives
for Christ. The Bible is filled with entertaining stories
and lessons still relevant to our lives today. Making
the Bible come alive will help your students remember
lessons and apply biblical truths every day of the week.
Youth 1–Adult You want to foster a love for the Lord in
your students, to deepen their relationship with Christ,
to see their understanding of the Bible grow. Sometimes
that may seem more difficult when preparing lessons
for older students, but it doesn’t need to be. You’ll be
able to confidently teach rich Bible content with ageappropriate applications as a part of each lesson.
Teacher training in every Teacher Guide
Toddler–Youth 1 Whether experienced or new to
teaching, you’re always looking for ways to become more
effective. The Teacher Guide gives valuable instruction,
suggesting procedures for telling Bible stories, teaching
new songs and memory verses, and managing a
classroom. You’ll receive invaluable insights on teaching
children to pray and leading children to Christ. Feel
confident and prepared for every class when you use
the Teacher Guide.
Built-in review to ensure learning
Toddler–Junior A unique built-in review ensures
that your children recall previous lessons and that
the scriptural principles they’ve learned remain with
them. Variety and fun review games help them remember lessons, songs, verses, and Bible truths more
easily.
Youth 1–Adult The Teacher Guide features highlighted headings which provide an outline for review and
a springboard for this week’s lesson.
Youth 2–Adult Highlighted headings, Bible references,
and teaching visuals make it easier to truly teach a lesson
instead of read it, helping you give a memorable lesson
requiring less preparation time.

questions for review. Now you can present the story accurately
and with confidence.

“With the help of large, beautiful story

Optional DVD
Bible Lesson
There isn’t always a teacher available to give the Bible
lesson. Having the DVD Bible Lessons is like having
an experienced teacher on standby; after someone
leads the song, verse, and prayer times, the teacher
on DVD (from the A Beka DVD series) will do the
rest, making sure your students keep learning.

usic is a gift that God meant for His children to give back
to Him, and through the lyrics of songs like “Jesus Loves Me”
and “This Is My Father’s World,” even young children can learn
precious scriptural truths. That’s why music is an important part of
every lesson. Your students will learn the great hymns of the faith
along with favorite Bible choruses. Songbooks provide the words
and music for all hymns and choruses incorporated, and visuals
and CDs enhance the singing portion of each lesson.

oung children, especially preschoolers, remember words better when they have pictures to go with them. The full-color,
poster-sized verse visuals help your students associate a picture with
the verse being taught. You’ll be amazed how many verses even a young
child can recite when prompted only by a picture! Older students and
adults enjoy varied and attractive memory visuals that accompany
each lesson. They are also great bulletin board or wall decorations.
