5 Little Bears
One little bear
Wondering what to do.
Along came another,
Then there were two!
Two little bears,
Climbing up a tree.
Along came another,
Then there were three!
Three little bears,
Ate an apple core.
Along came another,
Then there were four!
Four little honey bears
Found honey in a hive.
Along came another,
Then there were five!

Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear
Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear.
Where have you been?
Over the mountains Such things I've seen!
Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear,
What have you done?
Eaten blueberries
Made ripe by the sun.
Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear,
What have you found?
Ice-cold spring water
Deep from the ground.
Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear,
What do you dream?
Sweet tasting salmon
Swimming upstream.
Grizzly Bear, Grizzly Bear,
Where do you creep?
Into my dark cave
Alone, let me sleep!

Mr. Bear
(Sung to: "If You're Happy and You Know It")
Mr. Bear says all he wants to do is sleep,
Now that winter's here and snow is very deep.
He has curled up in his den,
And we won't see him again
Till the spring when all he'll want to do is eat!

The Polar Bear
The polar bear by being white,
gives up his camouflage at night.
And, yet without a thought or care,
he wanders here, meanders there,
and gaily treads the ice floes
completely unconcerned with foes.
For after dark nobody dares
to set out after polar bears.

Bouncing Bear
Use a parachute or a large sheet for this
bouncing fun. Space the children evenly
around the parachute or sheet. Instruct
each child to hold the parachute tightly with
both hands. Next place a teddy bear in the
center of the parachute and challenge the
children to move their hands so that the
bear bounces and flips in the air. Get the
bear to bounce side to side. Have the bear
hid “under: the parachute. Have the bear
bounce on “top” of the parachute.
