The multi-tasking PACMED with
Server Plus software combined with
the McKesson Connect-Rx software
platform will electronically process
orders for specific patients, for
AcuDose-Rx cabinets, and for the
MedCarousel and Robot-Rx systems.
PACMED with Core software can also
be used stand-alone interfaced
directly with a wide range of
Pharmacy Information Systems.
Automated packaging uses significantly less labor, optimizes inventory
levels, and enables bulk medication
buying. PACMED scalability (accommodating from 60 to 500 line items)
and flexibility (three sizes of storage
canisters and three or two sizes of
packages – two with the Robot-Rx

Technicians weigh the bulk medication storage canisters to verify
quantities restocked. Inventory is
linked with other PACMED data to
give you exact inventory at all times
and receive alerts when medication
reaches predefined levels.

calibration
McKesson Canada calibrates bulk
medication canisters in Montreal,
Quebec. It is the only certified
canister calibration facility in Canada.
PACMED Options
PACVision® saves time on verification of
pouches. Fully integrated with PACMED, the
pouch verification device helps save up to
75% on verification time. PACVision is based
on an advanced pill recognition system that
verifies the shape and color of every pill. This
fast, reliable, compact and secure machine
verifies the content of each pouch in less than
one second.
Singulator automates the cutting and
stacking of ROBOT-Ready packages for
transfer to ROBOT-Rx or offline inventory,
freeing technicians to focus on other
pharmacy activities.
